Sorry the last chapter took so long to get out, I wanted to make that one realativley long because I knew this wouldn't be a long chapter. But I will be bringing back translations of the Spanish phrases I incorporated probably except all the new chapters after this one to have them at the end and previous ones will be all updated by Friday night!

We got to the lake and went to the edge of the water

"What's on your mind you goof" I ask him

"Nada" he says looking out at the water

"Ok seriously though what's wrong, your supposed to be the mature one in our friendship. You know, like the wise one who has all the answers." I say

"Ok i will tell you but you can't be mad at me. Or anyone involved." He says sternly

"Ok ok what" I ask earglry

"Before you left for Paris a few years ago me and Mia dated briefly, like I want to say we started dating 2 weeks before you left and we broke up two months after you left" he says

I stay silent.
I knew that something was going on - part of me wanted to say I knew and taunt him

But the other part of me was hurt
Hurt that two of my closet friends kept a huge secret from me for almost three yearss

"Come on pequeña say something " he says

"I just don't understand why it's so hard to just tell me the truth, like why is everyone always lying to me" I say standing up and beginning to walk away

"Carmen come on, just wait please." He calls after me

I walk away
I keep waking and I don't turn back until I'm back in town

I just want everybody to be honest. It's seems to me that I can't shake that little sign i must wear that says

As I continue walking my phone starts buzzing 5 missed texts from pedri 2 missed calls.
8 missed texts from Mia, 3 missed calls
2 missed texts from Gavi and 2 missed calls

I begin to tear up as I begin thinking

I shouldn't have left him alone like that
Am I being a bad friend
I hope he's doing ok

All of those thoughts cloud my mind

My phone begins buzzing again

5 missed texts from my mom and 6 missed calls
2 missed texts from my dad and 2 missed calls

I feel even worse ignoring my parents but I just need time right now

My phone buzzed one more time

I saw the name light up on the screen and I immediately picked up

"Cariña what's going on, why aren't you answering your parents or your friends" Neymar asks me

"I think I messed up some stuff over here" I say

"We'll talk me to through it, and most importantly go inside somewhere don't just stay outside" he responds

I walk into a library and go into a corner

I explain what happened

"Ok so I still don't see how any of that is you messing up" he says

"I think I overreacted though like i should've been happy that they were happy, or- shit."

"What is it cariña" he asks

"Mia is going on a date, and told pedri. That's why he was upset." I state

"Now before you start making things up in your head there is no problem with how you reacted because you didn't know." He says

"God im a shitty friend, oh my god oh my god."

"Calm down Carmen. You are doing a perfect job being you. Take time for your self re explore your city, it's only 2:30 pm you have time. Revisit your favorite spots see other old friends."

" ok" I say catching up with my breath

"Talk to pedri when your ready, talk to everyone when your ready. But for gods sake fcall your parents."

"Ok I can do that"

"Ok, call me. Later with a check in ok?"

"Ok I will" I say

"Ok caramel love you see you soon" he says

"Ok thank you, say hi to davi for me." I say

He hangs up and I get up from my spot in the library

I walk out and head off to my first destination.
