We were driving for about 20 minutes
"So are you going to tell me where we're going yet?" I ask
"Be patient princesa." He says keeping his eyes on the road
I blush and look out the window at the sunset.
I always forget how beautiful Barcelona is at night
"Ok princesa we are here" he says and pulls over at a beach entrance
We get out and walk through the entrance
"It's so beautiful" I say
"So are you" he says softly
"Why thank you lover boy" I say turning to look at the sunset
He walks up closer to the water and sits down, then motions for me to come over
I walk over and sit next to him
"So how are things in Paris" he asks me and makes eye contact with me
"Meh it's not bad just not really good either." I say
I pause
"So why don't you tell me about this Bianca girl" I say
He hesitates and breaks eye contact
Shit I hope that wasn't too soon I think to myself
"Bianca is in the past, there wasn't anything really to our realationship. Now I'm focused on the present and my future" he says a little harshly obviously trying to shut the conversation down
"Ok, yeah that's understandable" I say softly as I stand up
He looks up at me confused and I begin walking away down the beach
"Are you coming or what?" I call out to him
I hear him get up and start running to catch up to me
"You know, I always forget how beautiful it is here. Like I love Paris but Barcelona is just magic" I say and sigh
"Then you honestly should just move here. I would like that" he says and laughs
I begin to laugh
"As great as that sounds most of my life is in Paris so I gotta stay for now"
"Well visiting is always an option, maybe catch a game or two at camp nou" he says
"I would love that, but as of right now I would love some food. I haven't eaten anything today"
He laughs and we go back to the car and drive to a small cafe
I just order water and a soup
Meanwhile Gavi ordered half the menu.
"Gavi how are you going to eat all of that" I ask him
"I'm a hungry growing boy" he says laughing
When our food comes out and 3 quarters of the table is his food I can't help but laugh at him
We eat and talk for a while just about random things and every once In a while we talk about football.
But sometimes my mind lingers back to when I brought up Bianca
"Let's get out of here I have one more spot we have to go to" he says
I nod and pull out my wallet to pay
"Do not even princesa, I'm paying" he says
" the least I can do is pay just let me" I plead
He shakes his head and gives the waiter his card
As soon as she came back with his card we left
"Ay Gavi you should've let me pay"
"No Carmen, it's already been paid for"
I Shane my head and stare out the window
We drive back into the main part of the city and back into the camp nou parking lot
"Did you forget something?" I ask
He doesn't and the question and instead gets out of the car and tells me to follow him.
I do as he says and we end up in the middle of the field of camp nou
"Gavi we are going to get in trouble" I say as he retrieves a ball from a corner
"No we won't just trust me amor" he says and passes me the ball
"Let's 1v1" he adds
I put my bag down and pass the ball back to him and we begin to play.
we were playing for about 10 minutes before I get the ball near the goal and he tackles me
"Owwwwww" I yell out
He dashed over to me and crouched down
"What hurts Carmen" he asks
"This L your about to take" I say as I shoot up and get the ball and score
I start dying laughing
"B- But" he stutters
"Fair is fair" I say putting out my hand for him to shake
He grabs my hand and pulls me in close to him
He locks his eyes on mine and moves his head closer to mine
Our lips are centimeters apart
Before I can do anything he kisses me
I won't lie I didn't want to pull away but I felt like I needed to so I didn't hurt him with what I would say next
"What's wrong?" He ask after I pull away
"Listen it's not you, I just don't know if I'm ready to date just yet, so if we do this whole thing we have to take it slow, I don't want to rush anything." I say with pleading eyes
He walks up close to me again
" I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for you princesa" he says and makes eye contact with me again
This time without I thinking I kiss him
The kiss lasted for a good minute before I pull away
"Taking it slow starting now" I say and chuckle
He laughs and puts his arm around my shoulder
"If you tell anyone about that scrimmage we just did I will end you" he threatens
"Not a chance lover boy" I say
We walk out the car and begin to drive back to Mia's house so he can drop me off
Once we get outside of her house he turns to me
"I loved seeing you today, after our training tomorrow let's do something shall we?" He asks me
"Yeah, let's actually see if we can get Mia and pedri to hangout with each other to" I say
"I will try to get him to come along" he responds
"I will get Mia" I say
"Well see you tomorrow amor" he says softly
"Goodnight Gavi" I say and give him a kiss on the cheek before exiting the car and walking into Mia's house
