I teased my hair a bit to make it more voluminous. I took off the light makeup I had on and did my skincare routine. As I was in the middle of applying serum, I heard the front door open. A smirk grew across my face.

I heard him walk in the bedroom and I'm assuming get in bed. I finished doing my skincare routine and started brushing my teeth. I was done with my nighttime routine. I took out my contacts and put my glasses on. Show time.

I opened the door to the bathroom and Spreen's head turned to look at me. You could tell he wasn't expecting this at the way his face immediately froze.

I acted as if I didn't know what he was shocked about and that this was normal. I got in bed with him and grabbed my book on the bed side table. I was barely scanning the words in my book because of how focused on Ivan I was. I could feel his eyes glued on me. It made me get butterflies.

I bent up my legs up to where I was now sitting up and the book was resting on my thighs. The silk fabric pulled back a bit due to me sitting up, so you could now see the hem of my lace underwear on my upper leg.

I could still feel his stare on me. "Done staring?" I asked still looking down at my book. "I- u- uh. I was uh." he stuttered.

I glanced over at him with a smirk. He knew what I was doing. I brushed my fingers through my hair and looked back at the book actually attempting to read this time.

"I think it's cute that you read." He said. I turned to look at him and put the book down. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I don't know. I'm over here frying my brain on my phone while you're reading." He said. "With your cute little glasses on too." He smiled. I chuckled.

"What's it about?" He asked. "It's about a girl who gets an imminent warning on her phone saying that everyone should evacuate. She ignores it, just thinking it's nothing. Then the next morning, she wakes up to find nothing. Everyone is gone and they left her behind. Her parents, her friends, everyone. She can't call for help either. There's no signal. So now it's just up to her to survive in this abandoned city. Oh and she also found a dog." I said.

"I might need to borrow that book after you're done." He laughed. I smiled and continued reading. Fuck it. I couldn't focus
on a damn book. I put it down and turned my lamp off. Ivan's was still on, so it wasn't completely pitch black. I laid down and stared up at the ceiling.

"Going to sleep already?" He asked. "Yea. Well at least trying to." I responded. "Ok." He said with a small smile.

Spreen continued scrolling on his phone for what seemed like an eternity. I could hear the videos playing on his phone, although I had no idea what they were saying. I don't know why I thought his for you page would be in English. I guess I'm just so used to him speaking to me in English.

He finally put his phone down after a few more minutes. He turned his lamp off, but we could still somewhat see each other from the moon's vivid glow piercing through the sheer curtains.

He laid down and pulled the covers up over his chest. We were both faced towards each other and just admiring one another.

"hi." He said with a small voice. "hi." I said. We both continued just staring into each other's eyes. "You have pretty eyes." I said. "Like obsidian."

"Is that a Minecraft reference?" he asked with a straight face. I tried to contain my laughter to not ruin the calmness, but I couldn't help it. I started laughing.

He started laughing as well. It wasn't even that funny, but we were both at a loss of air. I was literally tearing up and I'm sure Ivan was too. "My- my st- stomach hurts." Barely escaped his mouth because of how hard he was laughing. That made me even more amused. My stomach started aching too, but I couldn't seem to stop.
