Ivan's POV:

My eyes slowly opened, and I drowsily sat up. I looked over to my right and saw Y/n still asleep. That's a first. Usually she's up before me. I decided to let her rest.

I got up and went to the bathroom to get ready. I took a quick shower, brushed my teeth, and teased my hair until it looked presentable. Lastly, I put on my clothes.

I walked into the kitchen to make breakfast for Y/n

I walked into the kitchen to make breakfast for Y/n. It's the least I could do. I couldn't wait for tonight. I was so nervous but so excited at the same time.

I hope her answer is what I think it's gonna be. I left her breakfast on the counter. Hopefully she'd wake up before it got cold.

I needed to buy stuff for the surprise, so I discreetly grabbed her keys and left the apartment. I made sure to text her to let her know I'd be back soon, just in case she woke up before I got back.

As I was walking the streets, I was searching for florist shops on my phone. To my surprise, there was one just right across the street from where I was.

I walked across the street and entered the shop.

"Hello, sir! How may I help you." A voice spoke. I looked forward and saw a little old man behind the counter.

"Hello! Do you happen to sell daffodils?" I asked. Daffodils were Y/n's favorite flowers. Alex has told me numerous times, I guess to convince me to buy her a bouquet.

"Well we sure do! What kind of form are you looking for these daffodils to be in?" He asked. "A bouquet, sir." I stated.

"Comin' right up!" The little old man walked into the back, shortly returning with a handful of daffodils.

"Any specific color ribbon?" He asked. "Yellow would be perfect!" I said. "Alrighty then." He got to work. Slowly putting the flowers in an arrangement and tying them all together with the yellow ribbon.

"Ok, sir. That'll be $40." He said placing the bouquet near me. I pulled out my credit card and handed it to him.

"You gettin' this for your special lady?" He asked looking down at the register. "Yes sir." I said smiling. He looked up and me and smiled. "By the look on your face, I can tell you love this woman."

I smiled even wider. "Oh I do." I said under my breath.

"Alrighty! You're good to go!" He said handing me back my credit card. "Thank you!" I said. "You're very welcome! Now go be with your special lady."

I grabbed the assortment of daffodils and headed out the shop. I walked across the street and entered the lobby of Y/n's apartment building, eventually making it up the stairs and into her apartment.

*End of Ivan's POV*

I woke up to the sound of the front door shutting. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I slowly got out of bed and walked out of my room, into the living room.
