9:00AM

My eyes fluttered open, but immediately shut closed again due to the piercing sunlight.

I sat up and held my face in my hands. I looked over to the empty spot in bed which was usually filled.

Worry starts to flood my body when I think about Ivan. Was he ok? Where did he sleep? Is he even still in New York? Hundreds of thoughts were spiraling through my mind. I was about to go crazy just thinking about him. I wonder where h-

I looked up from my hands. Who the hell was that? I got out of bed and went to the front door.

I hesitated before I unlocked the door and slowly opened it.

My eyes fell on a tall, dark haired man.

Ivan.

A smile immediately grew across his face. I jumped into his arms and hugged him tighter than ever. Tears started pooling in my eyes. It had only almost been two days without seeing him, but it had felt like an eternity. He hugged me back just as tight.

Tears started falling down his face. "Y/n, I am so, so sorry." He said sniffling. "Shut up. Don't say sorry. I'm just glad you're ok." I pulled away from the hug and looked up at him, staring into those beautiful obsidian eyes.

I grabbed his face and smashed my lips onto his. It was the sloppiest kiss ever, but I didn't care. I missed him more than ever and was happy to see him.

I hugged him once again and told him to come inside. Tears were still running down both of our faces as we sat down on the couch.

"Where the hell did you stay?" I asked worried. "At a hotel a couple blocks down." He said softly. "I am so sorry. I shouldn't have kicked you out. I should've let you stay here." I said hugging him for the third time since he's been here.

"Don't say sorry. I'm the one who should be apologizing. I yelled at you and pushed you. I have no idea what got into me. I guess I was mad. Just... jealous." He said. I looked at him with furrowed brows. "Jealous?"

"Yeah. I guess I owe you an explanation." He started. "At the party, while you were using the bathroom, Dream came up to me. He um, he asked if you were single. I asked him why and he said because he thinks you're really cool and funny and you're like super hot. And he like wants you or whatever."

I widened my eyes. "What?" I asked in disbelief. "Yeah. I was just trying to protect you, but I got carried away. I'm sorry." He said.

"Hey, it's ok." I said placing a hand on his face. "I forgive you. I just need to figure out what the hell I'm supposed to tell Dream."

"He won't force anything out of you. If you don't want to tell him, I don't think he'll make you." Ivan said. "Yeah you're right." I said. I pulled him in for a hug. This one lasted a long time. I missed his touch.

He laid down on the couch and I laid right next to him, with my head resting on his chest. I was crazy about this guy. I wouldn't trade him for the world. He's perfect.

I woke up to me still laying next to Ivan. I checked my phone and looked at the time. It was 7:00PM. Damn. We slept for a while. I slowly sat up and it dawned on me.

"Holy shit." I said. It's gonna be 2023 in like 5 hours! I guess Ivan woke up from me practically yelling. "Oh sorry." I said. "It's ok." He said smiling. He yawned and laid back down.

"Um no. You're not going back to bed." I said tugging at his arm. "Why not?" He asked. "Because you just slept for like 6 hours." I said. "Well I slept horrible last night because I didn't have you next to me." He said. A smile grew across my face after hearing that.
