I looked into the dense crowd of people and easily spotted Ivan's dark, curly hair. I smiled when we made eye contact, and so did he.

My name was then called by the announcer and I walked down the stage and grabbed my diploma. I held it up in the air with a bright smile and everyone started cheering and hyping me up.

I didn't stay there for long because I knew other people were being called as well. I walked back to my seat on the stage and sat down.

I could see Ivan in the crowd, videoing me. I waved at the camera and smiled.

As the day went on, everyone had gotten their diplomas and I had officially graduated. Me and my entire class of hundreds of people switched our tassels to the left side. We then took off our caps and threw them as far above ourselves as we could.

Everyone celebrated and hugged. We all found our caps and went to run off the stage to see our loved ones.

As I walked off the stage, I ran up to Ivan and jumped into his arms.

"I am so beyond proud of you, Y/n." He said holding me tightly. He looked into my eyes and smiled. His hand found the back of my head and he pulled me in for a kiss.

"Let's get out of here." He said spontaneously. "But what about the after party? And I still have to meet up with my family and friends." I said.

"Forget that. I have something better waiting for you." He smiled and took my hand in his own.
