Splendid helped Flippy pack his bags, having his brother bring his treats and non-perishable foods as he would be moving in with Splendid.
He had four rooms in total in his home. One for him, the master bedroom. One for Splendont, the suite. And two guest bedrooms which were connected by a bathroom. Flippy would take up one of those rooms, the one closest to Splendid's room where Splendid could keep an ear out for him and Fliqpy. The idea was so Flippy knew there was someone nearby that he could go to when he was stressing out and to keep him from being alone in his thoughts, with Fliqpy. It would be a little hard to navigate during the weekdays because of work. Luckily, Splendont was back from whatever job he was on, he would help with keeping Flippy in check when he had work.
Flippy was a very enigmatic person...
There were a few times, Flippy seemed to lose control of his limbs.
There was a picture frame that Flippy had passed over. When Splendid moved to look, Flippy's hand suddenly shot out, slamming the picture frame down. Flippy and Splendid both startled at his actions.
"I-I didn't mean to do that." Flippy said, struggling to move his arm.
Splendid watched in morbid fascination as Flippy's body moved on its own, leaving him with no motor control. The other seemed to panic, looking back at Splendid as his arms slammed down the only pictures in his home, in his room, that were not war memorabilia.
"... so, we won't bring those?" Splendid asked, stepping back when the movements became more aggressive.
Flippy seemed to pause at that, breathing shakily before nodding, "No. We can't bring them."
"Okay. Then we won't."
Splendid reminisced on that earlier event. Fliqpy didn't come out once while they were packing up Flippy's essentials. He was able to take control of their shared body, which was... unusual to say the least.
Splendid glanced over at Flippy. Currently, they were walking through the forest to get to Splendid's home. He offered to fly them, but Flippy refused to move or even let Splendid or Splendont lift or grab him with such intentions. Splendont left a head of them, mostly because he liked getting places fast. Flippy stayed quiet, fiddling with the dog tags around his neck, which was the only noise shared between them outside of nature itself around them.
Splendid tried not to feel awkward about it, but he couldn't stand the silence.
"So... how old are you, Flippy?" Flippy tensed at his sudden question, glancing over at him.
Splendid smiled encouragingly, and Flippy looked forward, avoiding his gaze, "... twenty-four."
"Oh, wow. I'm twenty-six!" Splendid laughed. "When's your birthday? Mine's on January seventh."
Flippy looked back at him, curiously, but Splendid could see a small smile itching to spread on his face, "May twenty-sixth."
"Oh, so your birthday just passed. I'll make you a cake later to celebrate."
Flippy blinked at that before looking away. Splendid caught a brief glimpse of pink coloring his cheeks. He found that rather cute. His neon colored hair caught his attention when he looked away, still peering through his peripheral to look at the young man. Flippy's features were very nice to look at...
Splendid had to look away then, his hand going up slightly to hide the bottom of his face.
Well... he is handsome. It's not weird to think that of another man.
Shaking his head slightly to clear his thoughts, Splendid started to think about what he was going to do for Flippy in the long run. He wasn't too sure how to go about really helping Flippy. With the notes Lumpy took, step one was to get his medication. He wasn't sure how long the man had been off them, and suddenly being off might have been what caused his spiral into that fiasco a few months back. Perhaps a new therapist because, technically speaking, Lumpy was no expert in his opinion. How he even got the license to become a therapist was beyond him.
