While Flippy had returned to being pleasant with Splendid after he followed through with that roast beef, he was left waiting for days, weeks on end for an answer to his request. In that time, Fliqpy only made himself known during a trigger or when Flippy was out cold.

"Go sit on a cactus." Fliqpy sniped, grinning wildly from where he was trapped under a rock pile that Splendont put on him.

Splendid sighed as he glanced over at his brother, who sported some bruises from fighting with Fliqpy... for the fourth time this week. It seemed that as they spent more time in the same space, Fliqpy was less inclined to target Splendid and wanted new targets to release his endless energy.

Other than that, Fliqpy didn't find a need to go into town to cause chaos. In fact, to Splendid, he seemed to find his amusement fighting with the two heroes. They didn't seem to have any luck finding a therapist who would talk to Flippy though. After some eavesdropping, curtesy of Splendont, they had found out that someone was leaking out more rumors about Flippy and it was reaching out to nearby towns. As such, it seemed they weren't going to find a willing therapist, and Splendid had yet to tell Flippy this.

In any case, things were good.

Four months into his wait, Flippy finally answered Splendid's question on one of his lazy Sundays.

"I think... I'd like to get to know you more..."

Splendid counted that as a victory. His heart raced in excitement as he contained himself beside Flippy on the porch. He smiled happily.

"And Fliqpy?"

Flippy sipped on his lemonade, "He won't talk to you. But I can."

Apparently, Flippy needed the "okay" from Fliqpy to be with Splendid, alone and talking about themselves. He didn't mind, as long as he got the chance to really know Flippy on a personal level. It was a worth while wait.

Though, that brought up a problem.

What were they going to do?

Truthfully, he's only ever done what others wanted to do. So, his only answer to that question?

Ask Splendont.

Which is where he currently was, pacing back and forth in front of Splendont, in his brother's room.

"How should I do this?"Splendid asked for the hundredth time.

"Jesus Christ, you act like you're taking him out on a date!" Splendont groaned and Splendid made a face.

"We're hanging out. Not going on a date. Don't say it like that. It's weird." Splendid complained, his face going pink. "Besides I'm straight, and so is he."

Splendont stared at him, before dragging out, "Right... you two should kiss and get it over with already."

"Splendont! You're not helping!" Splendid yelled, walking over and flopping on top of his brother, eliciting an "oof!" out of him.

"Splendid. Just. Take. Him. Somewhere!" Splendont seethed pushing Splendid, in a half hearted attempt to get get him off.

"That's the problem! I have to take him somewhere he's comfortable and has a least likely chance of angering Fliqpy..." Splendid frowned and buried his face into his brother's back.

"Then take him to the woods. What's the worse that can happen?" Splendid scrunched his nose up as he looked at Splendont.

"Just because you said that, something will happen."
