"Spill it, Urkle."
They were at Washington after Splendid had gotten in contact with Urkle Eel, a Master Sergeant that was Splendid's liaison for the government. He had gotten him proper, legal documents, kept him up to date with any missions the government needed him to hop in for, and generally kept an eye on Splendid. Splendid had met him a year after the fight with Splendont.
"Splendont, please." Splendid put his hand on his brother's arm, urging him to sit back down.
They were sitting in a secret room within the basements of the White House. The President, Harnold Hopper, and several of his Sergeants and other important figures from different parts of the government's special service leaders. On the screen were multiple images of Tiger Stripes, or as they called him, Tiger General. There were so many faces of the man, identical, but at the same time slightly altered.
Urkle cleared his throat to get his attention, "Tiger General was a prominent figure during the Vietnam war. We only learned of how far his control and ambitions really went when W.A.R. was created and dug into the man himself."
Pictures flashed of slightly blurred photos. There were pictures of people in horrible, downright hellish conditions being tormented, tested on, played with. It was gruesome what they were showed. There were documents that had certain parts highlighted that showed most of what this man did.
Human experimentation, trafficking, terrorism, black market deals, illegal weapons purchases and manufacturing, the list went on.
"Yeah, we can see that, Urkle. What we want to know is why he looks the same— in fact, younger than what he should be if he was around in the nineteen-fifties." Splendont snapped, clearly agitated.
"We're not sure. By all accounts, he should be dead." He pulled up another picture, the same one of Clumsy Flipper. "This soldier, Sergeant Flipper had confirmed Tiger General's death before he went missing. No body was ever found and he was never heard from him again..."
Another man, an older one clearly in his eighties, spoke up, "I was one of the founders of W.A.R., I knew Clumsy."
Splendid turned to him, "Who was he?"
The man glanced at Urkle and nodded. Splendid and Splendont looked up when he pulled up a picture from one of the Happy Tree Friend Times' newspaper, the one that featured a picture of himself with Flippy the day he took him from his bunker and into his house. Splendid tried not to be embarrassed about the picture, considering he had held Flippy's hand when they entered that small part of town together.
"Clumsy had no living relatives. He was a good kid. Troubled, but was a model soldier." The man stated, smiling slightly. "He was brought into W.A.R. due to his natural talent for fighting, innovative strategy, and willingness to fight for his country."
Splendid glanced at the old picture of Clumsy. A rugged man for sure, there was a cocky smirk on his face, but his eyes were gentle, playful. It reminded him of Flippy and Fliqpy, like the man was a combination of both.
The old man pointed, "Show them our files from the W.A.R. project."
More files and photos — in color — showed up on screen.
Another photo of Clumsy Flipper appeared. In color.
Splendid stared dumbfounded at it, "Flippy?"
His eyes are yellow, almost gold.
"What the fuck are you getting at, old man? Get to the point!" Splendont shouted, causing the other attendees to snap back.
"Show some respect, rogue!"
