Splendid peered in from the doorway to Flippy's room.

He had come to early in the morning. Wounds healed, and body looking like it hadn't been stabbed or burnt in the slightest. Barring the scar that was left under his right arm, where Fliqpy had used his body like a pincushion when he wasn't using the knife, it was like he didn't spend god knows how long being tortured.

He felt the left side of his head, the place where his first and biggest scar was hidden by his hair. Some wounds stayed unlike others. He didn't want to look too deeply into what that meant.

"What happened after I passed out?"

Splendont kept tucking him back into bed, refusing to let him up, "We fought. I snapped his fucking neck."

Splendid shot up only to be pushed back down, "Why?"

"Because he was threatening to hurt you more! I wasn't going to risk it." Splendont snapped, gently touching his face. "I can't do this. Splendid, he has to go."

Splendid shook his head as Flippy groaned and began to sit up. He rushed to go inside, but was stopped by Splendont, who pushed him outside of the room. He tried to protest, but was shot down by a glare from his brother.

"Flippy!" Splendont shouted, startling the other, who jumped off the bed, confused.

"What—?"

"I don't care if it was him, you went too far yesterday." Splendont snapped, marching in and grabbing the man by the collar of his shirt.

Flippy's eyes widened, blinking in surprised, "Yesterday? I don't...? What are you talking about?"

Splendont's nose flared in anger, and Splendid rushed in, grabbing his arm as he watched it tense and move up in a move to hit. Splendont looked ready to explode on Flippy. Flippy looked more and more confused about what was happening.

"You tortured my brother last night, you sadistic freak!"

Flippy stared in confusion at the twins. He doesn't remember anything passed getting up early in the night because his throat was scratchy. He pulled away from Splendont's iron grip as Splendid tried to placate his brother.

Fliqpy? What did you do last night?"

Fliqpy did not answer him. There was a dull sense of shame and anger that welled up in his chest, but otherwise didn't stick. He looked at Splendid, catching his eyes for a moment before the hero looked away, a grimace on his face.

Flippy felt dread fill his chest.

Don't look at me like that.

"I was being nice when your little homophobe side came out because Splendid was willing to give you a chance." Splendont bit out, pulling against Splendid. "He doesn't know how to draw the line for his health and safety, so I will. I want you out!"

Flippy winced at his words. He didn't know what to say to this. He truly had no idea what happened last night.

"You can't decide that!" Splendid cut in, standing in front of Flippy suddenly. "Splendont, I know—!"

"You don't know shit!" Splendont snapped, throwing his hands up. "You'll let anyone walk over you because you think it's the only way to help them!"

Splendid winced and Flippy frowned deeply, reaching out to grab his hand. Splendid, however, flinched when their fingers brushed against each other. He looked down and noticed something on his skin.

There was a large scar on his right tricep. That wasn't there before. Flippy frowned, trying to force up their memories from last night, but found his access blocked.
