𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙇𝘿𝙍𝙀𝙉 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙁𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙃 [𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕂 𝟚] [𝙲𝙾𝙼𝙿𝙻𝙴𝚃𝙴𝙳]

Chapter 24: Unfilled Tension

The room was filled with tension as Barry Allen and Henry West-Allen stood in front of each; the dysfunctional father and son duo that had problems..like a lot; but it was quite ironic if you thought about it..Henry standing in the same room with his father and didn't lay a hand on him

But he was still filled with anger..you could see it in his eyes..even after all these years, Henry was still filled with a boiling rage that couldn't surpass anything else, nothing could take away the hatred and anger he felt for his father

Barry just saw his son, he was still confused about it..he still had no idea how Henry even became Speed Demon..how one child could be so filled with rage that his light and hope faded away until there was nothing left

But Henry had an even bigger problem on his hands..Cicada took Nora and now here his father was asking for his help

Henry: I thought I told you if you wanna stop Cicada to do it yourself.

Barry: I know you hate me. I know that something happens in the future to cause you to be like this. But Nora...she's in trouble and she needs your help. Our help. Please, Henry. Help me.

The unsurmountable tension quickly grows wider as Henry stops towards his father with no care in his eyes

Henry: Im supposed to care about Nora...

His voice turns soft but edgy as Barry sighs in defeat

Barry: Look, whatever feelings you have towards me, can't you for one second put them aside and help your sister?

Henry just chuckles as he walks over to the door and opens it up as he motions Barry to leave

He was defeated as Barry just walks out of the apartment as Henry looks at him

Henry: You're supposed to be the fastest man alive, Flash. Stop saying you are and actually be the fastest man alive.

Henry closes the door in his face as he turns around and rubs the back of his neck

It was just like Nora to get herself caught..to put herself in danger; but Henry knew that he couldn't let her die

Henry runs in a circle for a moment and when he stops running he was now in his suit as he presses the gauntlet as Nora's vitals appear in front of him

Her vitals said that she was alright but it was Cicada who took her so that may not last long

He moves Nora's vitals away as a picture of Cicada comes up as he stares at it; his entire shivered just staring at the picture of the dagger wielding villain

Henry groans as he comes to a realization that there was no way he was gonna be able to save Nora by himself

And that's why he was gonna hate doing what he knew he had to do

Team Flash stood in the cortex looking at Barry or well more specifically they looked at him for an answer on how to get Nora back

Ralph: So how are we gonna get her back, Barry? I mean, I don't mean to be that guy but we're down three.

Barry took in Ralph's question because it was the truth..Caitlin was no longer Frost as the thinker took away her powers and she'd been trying to get them back but to no luck, Bart was away dealing with the fact that the team wanted to let Henry join and well Cisco, he was still dealing with the after effects of the fight with Cicada

He did try to get Henry but obviously he wouldn't help and it scared him to admit that he didn't have a plan

Barry rubs the back of his neck as he tries to come up with a plan but to no luck
