𝘾𝙃𝙄𝙇𝘿𝙍𝙀𝙉 𝙊𝙁 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙁𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙃 [𝔹𝕆𝕆𝕂 𝟚] [𝙲𝙾𝙼𝙿𝙻𝙴𝚃𝙴𝙳]

Chapter 14: Trapping A Demon

The team had gathered in the med bay as Barry laid on the bed feeling the effects of his fight....well his annihilation at the hands of Speed Demon...Barry was scared...he was truly scared, not just because of Cicada but because of Speed Demon, there was so much he didn't know about this villain and it just seemed like at every turn there was something new he was discovering

But then there was Nora and Bart, the sister brother duo who knew everything, and despite everything Speed Demon was doing, they still wouldn't tell the team the truth and Barry was conflicted about that.. how could he stop Speed Demon if he didn't know the truth?

Nora steps forward to Barry as she looked down at him with concern

Nora: Dad, we're so sorry.

Barry sits himself up as he groans in pain

Barry: We need to know the truth. It's time for you to tell us who Speed Demon is and what he wants.

Bart: Nora, he's right.

Nora shake her head as she rubs her forehead...everything was going downhill very quick

But then she got an idea...or more like a suicide mission, something that they could do in order to trap Speed Demon

Nora: We can't. But I do have a plan to capture him.

Iris: A plan? What plan?

Iris asks with concern; after everything she wasn't sure if a plan was what they needed

Even Bart was concerned, they couldn't stop Speed Demon, they had came back to the past in order to stop him and yet they were failing at every turn

Nora sighs as she answers

Nora: One more time. Trust me. Please. And if my plan doesn't work. Then we'll tell you. Well tell you everything.

Iris sighs as she looks towards Barry, she wasn't agreeing with the plan yet, not until she heard an answer from Barry

Iris: It's up to you, babe.

Barry looks around at the team, his team, the one he's tried so hard to protect and despite not being able to tonight, he saw they were safe and if they could capture Speed Demon, they'd have one less problem to worry about

So it's with that, he'd go along with Nora's plan...for now

Barry: What's your plan?

Nora: It's simple, really, dad. My plan is Caitlin.

Caitlin who was leaning against the wall steps forward as she faces Nora, out of all the plans in the world, she was Nora's plan but for some reason it did make sense, especially after what Speed Demon said to her

But even though she knew it made sense, she still needed more answers

Caitlin: Me? Why me?

Bart let's out a sigh as he stands next to Nora and faces the team

Bart: Because...because in his own demonic, devilish way, he cares for you.

The team glanced around at each other in what was another moment of confusion...this man...this demon...actually cared for someone....in what seemed impossible....he actually cared for someone

Iris: I don't understand. How does he care about Caitlin? Why?

Nora: Just trust me. Please. Cisco, do you think you can build a trap that can keep Speed Demon contained?

Cisco laughs slightly as he replies

Cisco: You saw what he did to the pipeline right?

Nora: Cisco, can you?
