The maze (a newt love story)

Caught..

I realized I had been caught. I slowly turned with embarrassment written clear across my face. I forgot to check my surroundings and I saw every one in the glade clapping and whistling. I buried my face in my hands and let out a small chuckle/groan.

"THATS MY BEST FRIEND RIGHT THERE!!!" Minho yelled whilst running and giving me a big hug and twirling me around. 

I laughed. 

"Ey no need to be embarrassed, you were great!" Said frypan. 

I chuckled "heh thanks guys." 

I noticed newt was just staring with his mouth slightly dropped. 

"You alright there blondie?" I asked newt waving my hand in front of his face. 

He seemed to be in a daze. "Hellooooooo? Newt? You alright there mate?" Asked the weird eyebrow dude snapping his fingers. That seemed to get his attention. 

"Hmm what? Oh- uh yeah I'm good -I'm just gonna go take a walk I'll see y'all at dinner." Newt said walking away. 

"Wonder what's up with him." Said the weird eyebrow kid quietly. 

"Not sure, I'm sure he's fine though." I said with a shrug. 

"Hey eyebrows, how's your nose?" 

He didn't seem to like that nickname very much.

 "First of all, the names gally, not eyebrows, and second, its fine for now but I'm still mad you punched me." He said in a pouty mood. 

"Well, eyebrows, maybe next time you'll learn to leave someone alone when they tell ya too." I said smugly.

 "My names not eyebrows, its Gally." He said irritated.

 "Nah I think eyebrows suits you ima stick with it." I said with a smile. 

Eyebrows got mad and stormed off. 

"Not sure whats got his balls in a knot." I said mostly to myself but loud enough for everyone else to hear it as well. They all laughed.

 "I'm not sure about y'all but I'm starving." Said Minho "whens dinner fry?" He continued.

"Its ready just waiting on y'all." Said frypan. "Well what are we waiting for?" I asked. "Let's go then!" Exclaimed Minho as he charged through the crowd and twords the main hall where the kitchen was.

Dinner was great, we had some kind of vegetable soup with cornbread, and brownies for dessert. I'm pleased to say I went to bed happy and full.
