The maze (a newt love story)

Scream

I was exhausted that night and went to my hammock and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I was sleeping peacefully until someone, I wasn't sure who, came and tried to attack me. The mysterious person grabbed me and threw me down and pinned me to the ground. They were sitting on top of me. I wasn't sure what was happening or why but I was scared. I tried kicking and pushing them off of me. The figure kept pressing my wrist down and trying to get me to stop flailing. The figure started to lift one hand up my shirt and I screamed. I screamed so loud I woke up the entire glade. Newt and Minho were close by and heard me scream, they were confused but they looked around and saw me on the ground with a figure on top of me. "Shit." I heard one of them say, I heard them run to me and Minho grabbed the figure and threw him off of me. I had tears streaming down my face but I was quiet. Newt grabbed me and held me close to him, I didn't think anything of it, but I leaned in closer to newt while Minho was punching the figure and dragging him to the pit. Newt held me close, rubbed my hair and told me it was okay. I felt safe with newt. The whole glade had awoken and everyone was up now confused to find newt hugging me close and me crying. I looked down at my wrist and found these giant dark blueish purple bruises on my wrist. They stung. I wasn't sure what to do now so I just sat there with newt trying to calm me down and telling me it was going to be ok that I was ok now.
