The maze (a newt love story)

What did you do?

I was walking around and checking on everyone. I spotted newt hanging out with the greenie.

"Hey Blondie, Chucky, whatya guys up too?" I asked.

"Oh, hello love, not much just chilling." Said Newt.

"Can I join you?." I asked.

"Sure." Said chuck

I sat next to newt, and our hands touched slightly. We both awkwardly put our hands in our laps to avoid touching each other again. 

"So what have you been doing today Jane?" Asked chuck.

"Well Chucky, i-." I started to say when I was cut off by a scream.

I tried so hard to hold In my laughter.

"Love, what'd you do now?" Asked Newt after being momentarily confused.

I couldn't speak I was laughing too much.

"Welp, we better go check it out." Said newt with a small chuckle.

Chuck got up and I tried to get up while trying to stop laughing. 

"Come on love, let's go." Newt said pulling me up from where I was sitting. 

I stumbled a bit and started to fall forward and put my hands in front of me to try and help protect my fall. Instead of falling onto the ground I fell into something. Well more like someone. It was Newt. I opened my eyes and looked up. He looked worried but had a small smile when I looked at him. I smiled back. My face felt hot and newt was blushing a little bit. 

  He helped me steady myself. He was holding his arms out and my arms had caught on to him. We stayed like that for a moment looking into each other's eyes. 

Someone had coughed. I forgot we weren't alone. 

Newt and I quickly stepped away from each other and avoided eye contact. We were both blushing.

Chuck was looking back and forth between us and smiling. I ignored it.

We went to check where the scream came from even though I already knew what the source was.

We get there and almost everyone is gathered around gally, he was hanging upside down by his ankles swinging madly in the air.
