I hadn't realized what had happened until it happened and I heard cheering. I looked down at my hand and realized I had won.
Frypan grabbed my hand and held it up to indicate that I had won. Minho grabbed me and hugged me and spun me around. I didn't care I was too happy.
I went to newt, who had a smile on his face, and without realizing what I'd done I'd threw my arms around him and hugged him tight. He took a minute, being shocked from my hug, but eventually hugged me back. We stayed that while for a good minute until someone said,
"Alright break it up." Making us realize what had happened and quickly break away and blush a bit awkwardly.
Minho saw from the corner what happened and smirked to himself.
"Well I'd say its pretty clear, so I hear by declare Jane the winner, and the leader of the glade." Newt said.
The entire room erupted in cheers, clapps, and someone started chanting my name.
"Jane, Jane, Jane, Jane, Jane." All of the boys said.
Well all except eyebrows.
This was it, I was the new leader, for some reason it just felt right.
