S O M E T I M E S, she forgot there were others out there just like her, just trying to get through life the best way they could.
They didn't have anyone to fall back on. When times got rough, they couldn't just give up and go back home to their parents.
Because they had no parents, no family, no one they could truly count on.
That's why Evanora had respect for all those who built their life from nothing, even Muggles.
How could no one see it?
There were so many students who were just barely able to save themselves from sinking, and the professors did nothing to help. They watched as their students suffered.
She laid there on her bed, looking up at the ceiling, meditating, thinking.
Evanora's eyes went drowsy, her body relaxed.
The dog chases them.
His target is only one of them.
The tree.
His friend and enemy will enter soon.
You better run, for time cannot be wasted.
It's time for you to strike, Evanora, for someone else has been messing with time.
She snapped open her eyes, grabbing her wand.
"Alexa, come with me, please. I'll explain on the way."
Before Alexa could fully register what was happening, Evanora was already out of the dorm and down the hall.
She threw the door open, running after her. "Where are we going?"
They ran up the stairs out of the dungeons to the main floor.
"Can you explain why we are running through the castle? Also, why isn't anyone moving but us?"
"My uncle is here, at the Whomping Willow entrance. I need you to help me knock out Harry's friends, Snape, and the rat. If Lupin becomes a problem, knock his ass out too. We have to hurry; I can only freeze time for a few minutes so far."
Her visions were weird. Every time she had one, it's like a voice was whispering in her ear, telling her what was about to happen.
As if it were pushing her in that direction, for her to make a move, for her to determine the outcome.
She felt her heart hammer in her chest as they ran throughout the grounds. It was as if she had been doing this all of her life.
Her lips tugged upwards; she felt free.
Reaching the Whomping Willow, they managed to get through the entrance just before Evanora could no longer hold time in place. Alexa placed a silencing and invisible charm on them as they made their way to the Shrieking Shack.
They went up the stairs, hearing Snape's voice. "I could do it, you know. But why deny the Dementors? They're so longing to see you. Do I detect a flicker of fear? Oh yes." He slowly moved forward, pushing his wand further against Sirius. "A Dementor's kiss. One can only imagine what that must be like to endure. It's said to be nearly unbearable to witness, but I'll do my best."
Evanora rolled her eyes, not that anyone could see, already annoyed at Snape. The man was simply too negative and depressing to be so old.
Harry reached for Hermione's wand.
"After you." Snape nodded his head towards the door.
"Expelliarmus!" Harry yelled with the wand pointing at Snape. He flew through the air, breaking the tattered bed to shambles.
Alexa exhaled loudly out of her nose, wanting to be the one to knock Snape out.
"Harry, what did you just do?"
"You attacked a teacher."
Evanora and Alexa stayed close together, watching the scene in front of them, both trying to get their thoughts together.
By the time they started paying attention again, Pettigrew was making his way towards Harry.
"Stupefy!" Evanora called out, rendering him unconscious. "Come on, everyone, since everyone knows the truth now, we can get the Minister here and put the one who's truly responsible behind bars."
"Eva? Why am I not surprised that you're here?" Sirius said, smiling.
"Because you obviously couldn't do it without the dramatics." She walked past him, stepping over Peter. While everyone was still looking at Peter, she mouthed to Alexa, "When we get outside, knock those two out." She pointed at Ron and Hermione.
Evanora led the way out with Alexa bringing up the rear.
"Thank you, Evanora." Sirius said, hugging her.
"Don't thank me yet, Uncle; there's still much to do, especially dealing with Dumbledore. Everything has to be in place, or he's going to cause more problems." She looked at Harry. "You should talk to him; he deserves to know his godfather."
Evanora walked back towards the tree, signaling Harry to go talk to Sirius.
Once Harry was a good distance away, she nodded at Alexa. The both of them raised their wands. "Stupefy!"
She turned to Remus. "You'll thank me later. Stupefy!"
"So, your uncle was innocent the whole time?" Alexa said as she started altering Ron's memories.
"Yes. It's pretty hard to believe if you didn't know him personally." She responded, working on Snape's memories. The man had so many barriers she had to pass before she could finally change them.
Evanora then moved onto Hermione's memories but not before taking the time turner out of her pocket.
"How are you going to get the Ministry to believe him?"
"Well, the rat is alive, and I'm positive they don't want the Daily Prophet to know."
"Oh, that's evil. I'll help write a witness statement. Overthrow the Ministry! Overthrow the Ministry!"
"Only if you want to. I gotta get these four back to their rooms first before I can go confront Dumbledore and get the Minister here. That man does not like me one bit."

"Headmaster, Minister, I'm so glad you two could see us at a time like this."
"Well, Lady Emrys, I can't help but come when such a powerful family calls for my presence." Fudge said, trying to flatter her.
"Right." She said shortly. "Moving on. You will put Pettigrew in Azkaban and get rid of anything bad related to Sirius Black."
"Ms. Emrys, if I may. How can we be sure Peter Pettigrew did it?" Dumbledore said with his hands crossed in front of his face.
She looked blankly at his face. "Did you not just hear him say he did it? He's still mumbling sorry and repeating the same thing under his breath. What more evidence do you need."
"Now now, Lady Emrys, let's stay calm. No need to-"
"Put him in Azkaban or the entire wizard community will know, and I mean the whole community—North America, South America, Africa. Do I need to go on or do you understand, Minister?"
"Crystal."
"Good. I expect him to be in Azkaban tonight."
"That's impossib-"
"Tonight!" She said not wavering. Evanora stood from her chair, walking towards the door.
"He will have to have a trial."
"Oh, the rat gets a trial?" She quirked her eyebrow. "So be it. Goodnight, gentlemen."
