How the day seemed brighter enough outside, Jungkook's cabin looked gloomy enough to mistake it for nightfall.
Words were hushed but the vampire didn't cared for all as he walked down the hallway to reach his meeting room.
Evidently knowing what discussions will be taking place.
"Sire, Mr. Nolen has arrived, " His secretary announced while Jungkook took his seat behind the large oak desk.
"Call him in.." He replied. As soon as the door swung open a male cladded in dark maroon suit strided in the space.
An inviting smile rasing on the new comer's lips, taking a sly turn at the sight of the heir of the Jeons.
"Good to see you, Jeon Jungkook.." Nolen said. Taking a glance around the office, "What a beautiful day. isn't it?" He stated while taking an seat facing the young Vampire.
Jungkook took a short glance at the light blue sky with flicker of dark clouds here and there, not suiting his taste the ravenette looked in front.
"Kim Taehyung.." He muttered, a hint of disappointment entering his voice. "He hasn't been seen ever since that night..How is your searching going on?" Nolen asked as ge lightened his cigar.
Jungkook stayed quiet for a moment, as he raised his gaze to look at the time and then responded. "Terrible," He paused. "There is no trace nor any clue as to where could he have gone." He added.
Nolan flickered his eyes at him with raise eyebrow. "How can a mere werewolf be that hard to find..I wonder,"
"He doesnt have his wolf..ofcourse its not easy, and by now he probably knows..that he's in danger" Jungkook spoke. "Maybe we should-"
"Yes, we should try hard to find him..I'm glad you partnered with me, its been easier since your men started cooperating with ours.." Nolen interrupted Jungkook, his smirk widening.
"I'm glad, Mr. Nolan.." Jungkook tilted his head with his red eyes glowing faintly.
Somethimg about the night was off, the moonlight reflected on the lake like water surface reflecting the white moon and surrounding area in a weird light.
Jungkook's hand slowly reached out and touched the cool surface, the coldness complimenting with his body warmth. His eyes drifted from the reflection of the moon and onto the pondwater, few bushes down in greenary.
Silence were looming around the vampire who only glanced down from the brattice and watched how the lake waters moved as if they want to reach out and wrap around him.
It only made him realise more and more that how the nightfall didn't helped with collecting his thoughts, aid him on musing his lonliness even futher.
"You did say you will be back.." Jungkook murmurs softly to himself as if he wanted it to hear, staring at the reflection of the moon and the darkness of the surrounding. A breeze blew through the air, rustling the leaves and trees. The forest was so quiet that it almost felt deafening. "will you.." tracing his eyes down at his hand which unknowingly raised itself to find a cold blue pendent but halted when Jungkook realised it was no longer with him anymore.
