A cool breeze blew across my face, sending a shiver down my spine. I tried to go back to sleep, but i was up now.
I opened my eyes, seeing that the window propped open which was probably where the breeze was from.
I yawned, noticing that Alec wasn't there next to me. I sat up slowly, rubbing my eyes.
I glanced around the room, smiling as i remembered what had happened last night. I ran my fingers through my hair, reminiscing the feeling of his lips on mine.
I opened my eyes slowly, hearing the bathroom door open.
I saw Alec walking back into the room, drying his sandy blonde hair on a navy blue towel, water dripping down his bare chest.
" 'morning," he smiled, tossing his towel into a basket and sat down next to me.
"Hey," I smiled, cupping my hands on either side of his face.
I leaned in and kissed him slowly.
"Do you want some coffee?" Alec whispered, pulling away.
"Sure,"
"I'll go get you some then," he said, standing up and pulling a t-shirt on.
"Wait, can i come with you?" I asked, standing up to.
"Why not," he smiled, extending his hand towards me. I took it and followed him downstairs. I squeezed his hand, smiling at the warmth of his skin on mine.
I sat down on his leather couch, tucking my knees into my chest.
"I'll be back in a minute," Alec told me, kissing my forehead quickly.
I watched as he walked into the kitchen, running his fingers through his wet hair.
I yawned and rubbed my eyes again.
I closed my eyes, leaning back. I thought about Alec and his beautiful sage green eyes. The ones that i feel like i could drown in. I loved how they reminded me of the forest, a place i loved so much.
I smiled slightly at the thought of him. How was it possible that he was into me?
I opened my eyes again, hearing Alec walking back into the living room. I smiled again as he sat down next to me, passing me a mug.
"Thanks," i whispered, leaning against his shoulder and sipping the coffee. I laughed to myself at the sweet taste of honey in the drink. I don't know how he knew i put honey in my coffee but it made me happy, knowing how well he knew me.
"Of course, anything for you Columbus," he whispered, his smile sweeter than the honey in my coffee.
I ran my fingers through my hair nervously, smiling down at my mug. I took another sip from it then placed it on the table. I laid down, my head in Alec's lap, closing my eyes.
"Hey Chris," Alec laughed, tucking my hair behind my ear.
"I'm tired," I grumbled.
"Then you should sleep more,"
"No," I groaned, taking his hand. I opened my eyes and staring into his.
"What am i going to do with you?" Alec shook his head, kissing my hand.
"Sounds like your problem," I yawned again, closing my eyes.
Alec laughed again, that sweet, harmonic sound filling my ears.
"I sometimes wonder how I like you," he sighed, messing with my hair.
"I wonder the same,"
"Now go to sleep Christopher," Alec ordered, emphasizing my full name.
"Christopher?" I laughed, peaking one of my eyes open.
"Do you have a problem Christopher?"
"Maybe," I smiled, tracing my fingers down his face.
"Chris," he whispered, pushing my hand away gently, "you need to sleep."
He kissed my hand, squeezing it slightly.
"Fine, fine,"
I sat up slightly and kissed him. Then i laid my head on his chest, tucking my knees in.
Alec leaned back, wrapping his arm around me.
"Goodnight Chris," he whispered, playing with my hair.
"You know it's morning right babe?" I laughed slightly.
"Oh be quiet," he sighed.
"Okay, okay," I giggled, sitting up to kiss him, "good morning Alec."
