I sighed, slamming my science notebook shut.
I was supposed to be studying for my test that was on Tuesday but my brain wouldn't concentrate.
I shook my head, cursing my short attention span. I picked up a pen, doodling on my hand and letting my mind wander.
Of course, it went back to the same thing it always did. Or person i should probably say.
His sandy blonde hair. His palace green eyes. His slightly tanned skin. The sweet, melodic sound of his voice with his slight southern accent.
I don't know how long i sat there for but soon enough my hand was covered in blue ink. I blinked quickly, reaching for my phone as it started to ring. I yawned, checking who the call was from.
Alec
I smiled, answering the call.
"Hey Sunflower Boy, what's up?"
My smile grew as i heard him sigh, silently cursing the nick name.
"Hey Chris, i was wondering if you still wanted to hang out later,"
I bit my lip at the sound of his voice.
"If i'm still invited,"
I turned my phone to speaker, balancing against my books and leaning back.
"Of course, but as before, Jackie will still be home," Alec pointed out.
"That's fine, she's cool," I shrugged, "What time do you want me to come over?"
I glanced up at my clock.
6:39 pm
"Whenever, i'm not doing anything at the moment,"
"Alright i'll be there in a little bit," i nodded, picking up my phone again.
"See you then Columbus,"
I smiled as he hung up, biting my lip as I slipped my phone into my pocket.
Then I stood up, and walked down the stairs, trying not to run.
"Hey Mom, i'm going to stay at a friend's house okay?" I called as i pulled on my shoes.
"Okay, how long will you be staying?" She called back, walking over to where i was standing.
"Most likely just tonight," I shrugged.
"Okay," she nodded, walking back into the kitchen.
My mom was such an odd person. Half the time she doesn't care what i did. I could go commit a crime and she wouldn't care at all. And the other half of the time, she would freak out at me for going somewhere, even after i told her multiple times where i was going. That was just my mom.
I pulled on a flannel (that was technically Alec's) but that was so thin it didn't really do much against the cold and walked out the door.
The wind blew against my bare skin, sending a chill down my spine.
I hurried across the road, quickly speed walking up Alec's driveway, wanting to get out of the cold. I knocked on his door, snapping my fingers as i waited.
That was another thing i did. I snapped my fingers randomly. I didn't really know why, it was kind of a nervous habit which i seemed to have a lot of.
"Hello," Jackie opened the door, her eyebrows raised slightly.
"Hey is Alec around?" I asked, trying to meet her eyes.
"Yeah hold on. ALEC!" she turned her head towards the stairs as she yelled.
"COMING!" I heard him call back, his footsteps following.
"Come in," Jackie ordered, gesturing for me to walk inside.
"Thanks," I smiled, stepping inside.
"Oh Chris, hey," I heard Alec say out of nowhere, making my jump.
"ALEC! Don't do that!" I exclaimed, slapping his arm.
"Sorry," he laughed.
"I know you're not," I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, i'm not," he cupped his hand under my chin, turning my face up and kissing my lips.
"What am i going to do with you?" I shook my head as he pulled away.
"I don't know, what are you going to do with me?" he smiled, sitting down on the couch and pulling me down next to him
I rolled my eyes again, holding back a laugh.
"I give up," i sighed. I laid back, my head on his chest and closed my eyes.
"Sometimes i wonder about you," he laughed, shaking his head as he messed with my hair.
"You wonder about me? Have you met yourself?" I raised my eyebrows as i spoke, not opening my eyes.
"Hey, i never said i didn't wonder about myself either!"
"Oh be quiet," I poked his side, opening my eyes this time.
"Okay, okay, i'm sorry," he laughed again, tucking my hair behind my ears.
I yawned, closing my eyes again.
"Stop lying to me, will you?" I sighed.
"No, no, I'm sorry Christopher,"
I sat up, glaring at him.
"I'm going to punch you,"
"Liar," Alec whispered, pulling me onto his lap. His fingers traced down my thighs, his lips brushing against my ear.
"Shut up," I whispered back, pushing him back.
I pressed my lips to his slowly, cupping my hands on either side of his face.
"Yup, shutting up now," Alec promised as i pulled away.
"Good,"
I pushed him back so he was laying down and then I laid down on top in him.
"Hello," Alec laughed.
"Shh," I whispered, pressing my fingers to his lips.
"Okay, okay,"
"Goodnight Christopher," Alec whispered in my ear.
"Mhm, night,"
