I peaked my eyes open slowly, glancing around.

Shit, did i fall asleep?

I was curled in the shotgun seat of Alec's truck as he drove down the road, presumably to his house.

I groaned slightly, sitting up. I flinched at the sound of my bones cracking as i moved.

"Hey," Alec smiled, glancing over at me, "look who's up."

"Shut up," I rolled my eyes, trying to stop myself from smiling.

I bit the inside of my lip, remembering everything that i had happened before I fell asleep.

Had we really kissed?

It had felt so much like a dream. It might've been. It most likely was. But i prayed to every god i could think of, hoping that it wasn't a dream.

Please let it not be a dream.

"Do you want to stay over at my house tonight? My parents aren't coming home tonight and my sister is going to be at a party for most of the night," Alec asked, ignoring my demand for him to be quiet.

"Sure, why not," I shrugged, picking at my shoes, hoping that he couldn't see how much i was smiling.

"Great,"

I glanced up to see him smiling as well, my heart going crazy as his teeth sparkled in the moonlight.

Again, i questioned whether he had actually kissed me. My brain was racing. It had felt so much like a dream yet so much more real.

"Wake me up when we're there," I yawned, leaning my head against the window, deciding that it was a problem for later.

-------------------------------------------------

"Chris," I heard Alec whisper, slowly tucking my hair behind my ear.

I opened my eyes slowly, seeing that we were still in his truck. He was sitting in the drivers seat, one of his hands resting lazily on the steering wheel. The car was off and we were parked in front of his house.

"Hey," I blinked, sitting up slightly.

"Come on, you can sleep when you get inside," he smiled, opening his door. He stepped out, walking over to my side of the car, opening my door.

I stepped out, rubbing my eyes.

"Come on Columbus," he whispered, sweeping me off my feet and into his arms.

"You're glad i'm tired Sunflower Boy," I whispered back, too tired to fight with him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head on his shoulder.

He carried me up that stairs and then into his room.

"Mhm, now lay down," he sat me down on the bed the was next to his on the floor.

"Don't tell me what to do," I ordered but there was no authority behind my voice.

"Mhm sure, i'll be back in a couple minutes," he leaned in and kissed my forehead then disappeared into the bathroom.

I closed my eyes, savoring the warmth of his lips that lingered on my skin.

So it wasn't a dream...

I laid down, smiling to myself.

He kissed me. He fucking kissed me.

I opened my eyes slowly, hearing the bathroom door open again. I watched, smiling as Alec walked past me, sitting down on his bed.

"Hey Columbus," he smiled back, laying down on his stomach, resting his head on his arm.

"Hey Sunflower Boy," I whispered.

"You're so cute," he whispered back, tracing his fingers down my face.

"Oh shut up," I muttered, pushing his hand away slowly.

"What? I'm just telling the truth!" he laughed slowly, tucking my hair behind my ear.

I rolled my eyes, secretly loving the warmth of his skin on mine.

"Don't roll your eyes at me Christopher!" he ordered, pulling his hand away.

"Wait no," I whispered, grabbing at his hand.

"See, i don't annoy you that much," he laughed again, taking my hand and interlocking out fingers.

"Hey, i never said that, you totally do,"

"Oh be quiet," he rolled his eyes, leaning over the bed slightly, kissing me slowly.

Alec pulled away, laying back down. He still clutched my hand, staring down at me with that sweet look in his eyes, a slight smile playing on his lips.

I smiled back at him, tightening my grip on his hand.

Alec raised my hand to his lip, kissing it slowly.

"Chris," he whispered, tracing his fingers over mine.

"Yeah?"

"You feel cold,"

"I'm fine," I groaned.

"Why don't you come up here?" he offered, ignoring me.

He sat up slowly, moving back slightly.

I smiled, slowly standing up and crawling next to him, without saying anything. I closed my eyes, burying my head in his chest, my knees slightly bent. Alec wrapped his arms around my torso, pulling me in.

"Hey," he whispered, tucking my hair behind my ear.

"Hi," I whispered back, taking his hand.

"This feels like a dream," he sighed.

I leaned forward and kissed his lips slowly.

"That felt real," I whispered.

"Yeah, i suppose it did," he smiled.

"Good,"

I covered my mouth with my hand, hiding a yawn.

"You should sleep Columbus," Alec whispered.

"I'm fine," I groaned, hiding another yawn.

"Yeah? And your yawning because you're so very awake?" he laughed.

"Yes," I lied, rolling my eyes.

"Go to sleep Chris," he whispered again, his lips brushing against my ear.

"Fine, fine," I laughed, closing my eyes and burying my head in his chest.

"Goodnight Columbus,"

" 'night Sunflower boy,"

"I'm never going to get rid of that nickname am i?" he laughed.

"Nope, now let me sleep,"

"Okay, okay, goodnight," he kissed the top of my forehead as i promptly passed out.
