Author's Note: *A little long, but crucial*
Hi, you guys!

For those who were unaware, I recently discovered from a reader that another user had copyrighted my book 'Love in the Waters'.

In light of the situation, I would like to share some information with those interested. However, if you simply just want to see Lia and Aonung, then feel free to scroll down to the story. 😂

Anyway, I did contact this user and they acknowledged copyrighting my work. Even though they made revisions to their book (twice) like I had asked them to, those changes were very minimal.

In addition, I also offered to help them with ideas should they need any assistance. Unfortunately, it was determined that the minimal revisions they made still followed my book, and some of the texts were still copied from my book.

Thus, per Wattpad's Copyright Infringement rules, I reported them for copyright violation under "adaptation or slight alterations to a work, such as changing names, copying the events, and writing them in your own words".

And Wattpad has removed their story.

So, please! If you have enough decency and kindness in your heart, do not steal or copy someone else's work that they've put their blood, sweat, and tears into. It may sound a bit exaggerated, but emotionally, never. It is very disheartening.

Personally, I don't even think my book is validly good enough to be stolen. But it happened anyway.

And to those who helped made reports (you know who you are) thank you so, so much! That is all. If you have read this far, thank you!

I love you guys and I truly appreciate you guys for keeping an eye out for my books!

From the bottom of my heart, y'all really are the best readers! <3

On another note: what is your favorite Lia and Aonung moment so far?!

There was much excitement and wholehearted laughter in the village of Awa'atlu as the Metkayina gathered to meet their spirit brothers and sisters.

In the water, Aonung called for the ilu as he pulled Lia behind him. One swam toward them from the distance as he mounted its back with Lia following suit.

After connecting his queue with the ilu, he gripped his mate's thigh firmly with one hand while holding the reign tightly with the other.

Her arms encircled his waist as they dove underwater toward Koehal.

They passed by the others, who were communicating through sign language with their tulkun.

Along the way, they also brushed past those on the ilu, swimming around with bright smiles.

Looking behind him, Aonung nudged his head at Lia, signaling they were getting close to Koehal.

In response, she nodded and grabbed his hand as he disengaged his queue from the ilu. They jumped off its back and watched it swim away.

They swam toward Koehal, who blinked at them in greeting as they approached him. Touching the skin of his spirit brother, Aonung smiled.

Observing their interaction, Lia's heart swelled with joy.
