It was the night of the ceremony as the shore of Awa'atlu echoed with life.
There were torches all around, lighting up the area for the people as they talked, danced, and ate with each other.
All but Lia, who was still inside her Marui. She wore a pearl top and tan bottom with pearl strings on her hips.
Beads of pearl decorated her hair, making it sparkle whenever light fell on it.
"Babe?"
Through the curtain to their entrance, her lover's face appeared, his eyes meeting hers.
"Damn," Aonung whispered, his heart in his throat as he scanned her up and down.
Her stunning beauty caught his attention and he couldn't look away. As she wrapped a sheer white cloth around her waist, she chuckled at his reaction.
He grabbed her waist with his hands before she could react, pulling her against him.
"You know, the ceremony's lame anyway. Why don't we just stay here and be naughty together?"
"You're so horny," she chuckled as she shook her head. "But we can't. I gotta go check the food really quick and make sure everything's in order."
Suddenly, she felt a wave of pain in her head as she grimaced in discomfort.
A look of concern crossed his face as he held her. "Whoa, you good, baby? What's wrong?"
"Yeah," she replied, placing a hand on her head as she looked up at him. "I just got a little lightheaded. I'm probably just exhausted from the preparations."
"Why don't we rest for today? I'll go check the food for you and come back."
She shook her head. "No, it's okay. I think I'll be fine. Maybe I just need to eat something."
His eyes were filled with concern as he searched her face. He wished she would listen to him more often, but she was stubborn about her responsibilities.
"Alright," he sighed. "Come on."
Taking her hand in his, the two lovers exit their Marui to join the crowd outside.

In the course of the ceremony, Aonung stayed close to her.
His eyes were glued to her the entire time, making sure she didn't faint on him. He gradually became concerned as he recalled the vision she had.
Meanwhile, Lia was growing increasingly wary of Luam's presence. She kept an eye on him in case he tried anything with Aonung.
She thought she was being ridiculous for a moment, but she couldn't help it.
"Here's drinks for you and Nung!" Siwei handed Lia two wooden gourds.
She shook her head. "I'm okay. I don't really drink alcohol. But I'll just take one for Aonung."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah." She smiled at Siwei as she placed a hand on her stomach. "We're trying for a baby."
