Hearing these war horns Gorou his ears are straight up aswel for his tail is straight because he grows very tense at that loud, alarming sound "Attacking while everybody is asleep...that is a weak move" he grumbles to himself before he would leave the hut with Itto following close behind him and as they walked Kuki joins them walking besides Itto. "I am not forcing you two to fight right now but it would be great for you to join us. To help us" the shy personality of Gorou faded in a snap when he heard the horns. He sounds stern and very serious right now not stuttering a word, not seeming to pause between words to think what he should say.

Itto noticed the change in his voice and watches how soldiers run out of the camp to fight "of course we can. Don't worry general!" Grabbing his claymore he would charge into the battle and he himself easily knocks people down, could throw them and all those things.

Gorou grabs his bow and starts shooting arrows at a quick pace. Not only can he shoot fast he is light on his feet aswell so most enemies he does tackle do not see it coming. Gorou was running to switch positions yet he whimpers out loud when somebody grabbed his tail and yanked on it full force to pull the general back but right before a sword could pierce the general the other man got punched full force across his face knocking him out in a instand!

Itto saw it happen, he heard the whimper so he would move his current position just to give the shogun's army soldier a hard punch across his face. After that Itto looks at Gorou looking concerned for him. He wishes to check of anything is broken but he does not want to touch the other his tail seeing that is inappropriate to do so "are you... alright?"

Suddenly time seemed to stop in a moment for Gorou. He felt emense pain due to that yank so his ears are flat against his head, he wishes he can curl up in a fetus position and hug his tail yet he cannot do so because he has to remain strong and remain in the battlefield. At that question the general snaps out of it and looks up at the concerned Itto wondering why he seems overly concerned despite them just having met "i will be" he spoke.

Standing still in the battlefield was not the best of decisions and Kujou Sara knows that. Despite her being at war with Gorou she accually aims for Itto his head. Upon releasing the arrow and them not noticing a thing she watches how the arrow flies across the battlefield only to be broken right as it was about to hit Itto which made her look at Kuki Shinobu who threw the dagger she carries on with her to play with on occassion causing the arrow that broke in two. It still made a impact despite the arrow being split and the arrow head cuts Gorou on his cheek quickly drawing blood from the freshly made, semi-deep wound.

It all happened so fast that both men flinch when it happened but all Itto is concerned about is not the arrow that came for him, no, he is concerned because Gorou is bleeding.
Concerned and angry he would turn to look at Kujou Sara with murderous intent written all over his face. He would approach her at a quick pace but Kuki grabs his arm and stops him from doing anything irrational "If you kill her the shogun will be incredible mad..."

Itto turns to look at her once more standing still in the battlefield yet he notices Gorou sticks close to him no mather what so Itto wraps his arm around the general gentle patting his back before holding him close in a protective manner. The general is fierce yet even he has his weaknesses and that is his tail. The yank from before was so hard and painfull it sended a shockwave of pain trough Gorou his body as in truth he almost passed out just from that so yes he feels weak and vulnerable now which is why he sticks so close to Itto for now yet he does not expect to be pulled so close to the other. General Gorou did not mind the pats on his back yet when being pulled close his face is technically *forced* within Itto his chest a dark blush wouls cover his cheeks and his ears move flat agains his head "c-could you let me go?" Gorou mumbles feeling how hot his cheeks are getting and he hopes none of his soldiers see this.
