Chapter two - The Second Day

'Greenie, you can sit with us.' The blonde boy said once it was time for dinner.

'Okay, thanks.' I smiled and followed the boy, whose name I didn't even know. We waited in a line to get some food and I saw the boy with the apron cooking.

'Hey, Greenie.' The boy smiled and gave me a plate filled with potatoes and some meat. 'I'm Frypan, nice to meet you.'

'Thank you. I'm- I don't know.' I chuckled lightly and followed the British boy again.

'Hey, what's your name?' I asked him once we sat down at a table.

'Newt.' He replied with a soft smile on his face. 'Do you remember yours already?'

'Nope.' I shook my head and started eating. A few minutes later an Asian boy sat down in front of us. His face was sweaty and covered in dirt. His blue shirt was also dirty and the only thing that seemed to be clean was his hair, that was perfectly in place with hair gel.

'New Greenie, huh?' The boy looked at me.

'Greenie, this is Minho.' Newt motioned at the boy.

'Nice to meet you.' Minho gave me a small smile and started eating.

I looked down at my food and suddenly something in my mind snapped.

Nora.

'Hey, I remember my name.' I looked at the two boys.

'What is it?'

'Nora.'

'That sure is a nice name.' Newt replied.

'Yes, I'm glad you have your name back, Greenie.' Minho said, focusing on the word Greenie. Immediately I realized that this was a sassy boy.

'Where do I sleep again?' I asked.

'My hut.' Newt looked at me. Minho suddenly started choking on his food.

'Where does she sleep?' Minho repeated trough his coughs.

'My hut. I sleep in the Homestead.' Newt simply replied.

'Why? You don't have to give up your room, I can just sleep in the Homestead.' I resisted.

'Uhh.' Newt rubbed the back of his neck. 'I don't think it's a good idea to let you sleep with the others.'

'I'll be fine.'

'Not happening.' Newt got up and took his empty plate with him.

Me and Minho stayed silent and ate our food.

'Minho?'

'Yeah?' He looked up.

'Are there any, uhm, showers here?' It felt weird to ask the question.

'Yeah, in the Homestead. First floor, you'll find it.'

'Okay, thanks.' I got up and gave Frypan my empty plate. I walked over to the Homestead and went in.

I saw hammocks hanging everywhere. In the corner of the big room were some wooden stairs. I started walking up the stairs and ended up in a small hallway with two doors. I opened one of them and it revealed two showers, both of them had their own shower curtain.

There was a small toilet, a drawer, and a sink. I looked in the drawer and saw some fresh towels. I turned the shower on. When I got in a slight shiver went down my spine. The water wasn't very warm, but I was glad that they even had showers.

I washed all the dirt off myself with a bottle of soap and quickly got dressed again.

(Now when I'm reading this back after I finished writing it's funny since I already know what else is going to happen in that shower... spoiler :)
