TW: Panic Attack
Severus Snape's detention was hard, but between having her hand bleeding and having to clean caldrons by hand and having her arm hurting for days, she would clean a whole potion's store without complaining. Harry, however, seemed eager to complain under his breath the whole two day of detention after Professor Snape refused to change his detention day away from Friday because of Quidditch. Though it annoyed Cecilia above the normal, she was quite happy to move closer to Snape and clean close to his desk, where Harry wouldn't dare following.
She understood that, in England, Quidditch was a lot more important than she could ever grasp and understood even better when Harry announced that Ron had managed to get a position as a Goal-Keeper in the Gryffindor team; it was more than just Quidditch to Harry, he had wanted to support his friend as well, and that was quite sweet of him.
All her happiness disappeared when Emma gasped at breakfast, eyes wide at the newspapers in her hands.
"Sirius Black was seen!" she announced loudly.
Constance raised her head from the book in her lap, which she had been struggling to read without dropping at oatmeal on. Luna looked down from the ceiling that she had been admiring – trying to guess it was going to rain or not – and Cecilia just held her breath, trying her best to act as normally as she could.
"Sirius Black? The prisoner?" Constance asked.
"Yes! Oh, this is so scary. He was seen in London!" she whined.
"This is horrible," Constance agreed.
Luna's curious eyes stopped over Cecilia before the older girl noticed and made her best worried expression as she leaned forward trying to catch a glimpse of the news there. Emma noticed, leaning the papers forward so she could read it.
"What an absurd! As if," dismissed Cecilia. "Please, if I was a criminal who had both the Muggle and the Wizarding world looking for me, I certainly wouldn't be walking around in London so easily."
"I mean, it's basic," Luna agreed. "He seems like someone who wouldn't get too along with Boones."
"Boones?" Constance asked.
"They are small creatures that make you want for attention, they're very hard to see, but they live in very populated places," Luna explained. "Sirius Black, after staying so long in Azkaban, would somehow be against them. Someone who spends a long time away from populated places, are usually against them."
Cecilia ignored what Luna had said, but Constance looked somewhat interested.
"Can you see them?" Constance asked.
"No. My mother could, though," Luna said. "She said that Sirius' brother was one of the people that least had Boones around him. She had the theory that it was genetic, but Sirius really had a lot of it, but she said that someone that stays out of populated places hate them. I hate them. I live quite far away," she sighed.
That caught Cecilia's attention. Pandora had talked of Regulus to Luna, much to Cecilia's surprise.
"Nice!" Cecilia forced herself to say.
Emma sighed, clearly tired of the conversation. She never liked things that couldn't be proven, besides her own god, but she would never dare be mean to Luna so easily – she was quite... fragile, or at least she looked too fragile.
"Holy shit!" Constance said.
Cecilia looked at her and Emma seemed to cringe at the bad-words coming out of her friend's mouth.
