"You cheater! You hid that from me!" I yell, pointing an accusing finger at him.
"I won fair and square," Dad says, making a big dramatic motion of laying down his last card.
"No!" I yell.
He lays down his card, before jumping around the living room. "I won! I won! I won!"
"You cheated!" I narrow my eyes at him.
"I won! I won! I won!" Dad keeps chanting.
"You hid that Draw Four under your leg!" I'm this close to ripping all the cards and lighting them up on fire.
"I don't know what you're talking about. All I know is that I'm beating you fair and square and you're sucking like a sore loser."
"Rematch!" I demand.
He gives me a wicked look. "Ready to lose again?"
"Promise you won't cheat?"
"I never cheat." He declares.
"Liar, Liar, your mom's on fire."
"Don't bring your grandma into this." He narrows his eyes at me.
"Rematch." I declare again.
"Fine." He takes his seat back at the coffee table on the carpet.
I pile up all the cards in my hand and shuffle them.
After another intense thirty minutes of utter silence and dedication, a loud hooting laugh that sounds like a witch, burning from the pits of hell echoes throughout the house as dad jumps up and dances around the living room.
I slam my remaining cards on the coffee table, my face fuming.
"You cheated again!" I yell.
"Holly's a loser! Holly's a loser!" Dad chants.
"You cheated! You cheated! You cheated! I don't know what you say, you cheated!" I cross my arms.
"Holly's a loserrr." He sings in a high-pitched tone.
"You're a cheater!"
He gives me a cool look. "I assure you, Holly, I have never cheated on your mother, and I love her wholeheartedly."
"Rematch!" I demand.
Just then the doorbell rings.
My eyes dart to the clock and apparently, it's time for me to study. But one cannot just study when her dad's been winning five rounds after cheating like the fucking cheater he is!
