"Sooo yeah, that's how it all went down." I'm finally done explaining.
Riley still has her eyebrows raised, a lollipop stuck in her mouth.
I pop another cherry into my mouth, feeling the sour and sweet juice spread onto my tongue as I bite into it.
"Let me get this straight," Riley says, sliding her lollipop out of her pouty lips with a pop sound, "One day you're telling me that you don't like British Boy at all and the next day...you kissed the fuck out of him?"
I nod. "Pretty much so."
She scrunches her face at me. "So you're like...actually dating?"
"Yup."
"Like an actual real relationship?" She questions.
"Yeah."
She still looks confused. "For real?"
I sigh. "Yes, Riley."
"You know now you can't fuck other guys, right?"
I close my eyes in half annoyance, half weariness. "Yes, Riley. I know how a relationship works,"
"That's what! You know how a relationship works that's why you've been avoiding it!" She slaps my arm. "Are you telling me you're actually sticking to one dick and you're okay with that? Have you even seen his dick before committing to him?"
A few people passing by in the school hallway glance at us at Riley's words. I'm hoping they don't understand what she's saying. That'll create another mess that I'll have to spend my time in taking care of.
This reaction is expected from Riley though since she knows me too well. My past self would've been asking the same questions to me.
"Nope." I answer. "He has really long fingers though." I wink.
Her face is still scrunched up in confusion as if she can't wrap her mind around it.
"Are you actually Holly?" She finally asks.
"I am." I say.
"Prove it."
I raise my eyebrows. "What do you want me to do?"
"Make out with me." She demands.
"Uh...I kinda can't do that now." I state.
"The real Holly would've done it in an instant." She crosses her arms.
"Do you know how a relationship works?" I question her.
She puts her lollipop back in her mouth, frowning at me and grumbles. "You're such a bitch, getting into relationships just like that out of the blue. Am I gonna be the hoe between us now? What happened to being hoes for life?"
