I finally found my voice after whatever it was I had just witnessed.

'A royal among peasants' had he really just said that. No matter how flattered he thought I should be. That was too much. And calling himself a god...

"Cat got your tounge, my dear?" He chuckled.

I caughed a bit and went to get a glass of water, but Dandy beat me to it.

"Here you go, love." He winked.

"Thank you." I said and took a sip.
Then he changed the subject. Talking about wanting to go shopping with me and going out for dinner.

"Why would you wanna do that, dandy?" I asked and took another sip.

"Because why not? We should promenade and show all of them what class is. Don't you agree?" He said with a sparkle in his eye.

It's no use. He'll never understand what being nice truly means.

"Sure. Why not." I said and leaned on his shoulder.

"Then let's get dressed." He said and jumped a bit.

"But we're already dressed." I argued.

"No, we're not silly. I want us to look even better. How else are we to impress?" He chuckled.

"I didn't think others' opinions mattered to you." I said while Dandy ran to my closet, throwing all the pretty clothes on the floor.

"Of course they don't matter. But it's more fun if they gawk than just simple starring." He said and smiled like the spoiled brat he truly was.

I changed into the outfit he prepared for me and got ready to head out.
The weather was nice, a cool breeze flowing through the air.
It was a beautiful feeling, walking linking arms with Dandy, and the stares we got weren't just stares. They were like daggers dipped into the poison called envy. I felt amazing.
