The next day, we informed Gloria about the car accident, and she said to go into town and get a new one.

So that's what we did, right after breakfast, of course.

The walk into town was relaxing. Birds singing and flowers blooming, everything was well.

"What car are you thinking to get?" I asked Dandy.

"I don't know, yet." He replied shortly.
"Do you want to choose one?" He then asked and looked at me with a smile.

"I can't even drive. I wouldn't know what to look for other than looks." I laughed.

"Okay, then would you like to go shopping while I look for a car?" He asked, but I shook my head.

"No. I think the almost endless amount of bags we got the last time are enough for now." I chuckled.

"Well, what about your wedding outfit?" He asked with a light blush on his face.

"I thought maybe I could take some of my friends with me. But I guess that wouldn't be a good idea." I said with a sigh.

"If you really want to, you can take my wallet and if they tell you to leave. Make them regret it by waving the money before leaving. And if anything else troubles you...or your friends. You let me know." He said confidently.
Dandy stayed silent for a while, then he smiled, "You seem happy." He said.

"That's because I am." I said and looked up at him.

"I like your suggestion, but first we should get you a car." I said and smiled.

We picked out a nice Rover Twenty Chassis for a small fortune and drove to the freakshow.

"Okay, I'll call you once I'm done, okay? I asked, but Dandy looked confused.

"I thought I'd be your driver?" He said.

"Oh. Are you okay with that? I mean, having them sit in your car?" I asked.

"I am trying my best. If I don't want to anymore, you'll call me once you're done." He suggested, and I agreed.

"Hey everyone!" I said once I made my way to the trailors.

"Y/n! You're back again." Eve smiled.

"Yes. I wanted to ask if you and Jimmy were free this afternoon?" I asked and looked around the place I once called home.

"Only until 5. You know, practice and show this evening." Jimmy said as he rounded the corner.

"Good. I wanted to go get a wedding outfit. And obviously I need your help with that." I said, and they smiled.

"Our help?" They asked.

"Don't be so surprised. You know you're my best friends." I explained, and we walked to the car.

"Oh. Is he coming with us?" Jimmy asked when he saw Dandy in his car.

"He'll be driving us." I stated.

"Are you sure about that y/n?" Eve asked.

"Yes. He's fine with it. We also might need him if we run into any trouble." I explained.

"Come on. We know how to protect each other." Jimmy said loudly.

"I know. But his name is more effective. Trust me."

They got in the back and greeted Dandy. Both are very careful not to step onto any toes.
It was quiet and a bit uncomfortable, but fortunately, it didn't take long.

"Okay. Have fun. And don't forget to inform me if there's any trouble. I won't tolerate it if anyone disrespects my love or friends." He stated very calmly.

When the car's door closed, they both looked at me with wide eyes.
"Did he just call us friends???" Jimmy asked.

"Seems like he did." Eve answered for me.

"He really is trying his best." I argued.

The first couple of wedding related shops pretended to be closed when they saw us. I wouldn't tell Dandy about it unless we were actively disrespected. Which of course didn't take too long.

I entered a botique and was greeted, but the second Jimmy and Eve entered behind me. The employee made a motion for them to get out.

"I think you're in the wrong shop. Sorry, we are very exclusive." She said with a disgusted look on her face.

"Oh, sorry. Then, let's look for another boutique." I said and turned around with them.

"Ah no. Uhm, you can stay. I was talking to the other, too." What a painful attempt to keep a normal looking customer, I thought.

"I understood that. Thank you very much. But you see, these two are accompanying me. And if they are not welcome in your shop. Then I won't spend my money here. Simple as that." I explained and watched her face. I waved the money Dandy gave me, around to say bye.
We left, and I noted the name of the botique down for later.

"Doesn't it feel good? I mean, not having to take the disrespect anymore? You'll never have to accept that when you're with me! Not ever again." I said to them. But they looked uncomfortable.
"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I don't know. Feels wrong." Jimmy mumbled.

"Don't be silly. Let's check out the next shop!" I said and started walking again.
