"I still love you." I said.

"How?" He asked and stepped closer.

"I don't know. I just do." I said and looked into his eyes. There was a mixture of sadness and anger in them.

"I love you too." He said sternly.

"That's obvious." I said and smiled.
"But we have to talk about your possessiveness. I want my free space. And one of them will be the freakshow." I stated and got closer to him.

He looked at me angrily and huffed. "Fine."

"Now that that's settled. We should go home, it's getting dark." I said and started walking.

"You're not afraid of the dark, are you?" He asked and chuckled.

"I'm not." I said.

We continued our journey home. It took a long time. Surprisingly, Dandy didn't moan about it once. Like he knew it was his fault, that we had to walk, and just accepted it.

Once back at the Mott Mansion, we were greeted by a very concerned Dora.

"My goodness, where have you been! And what happened to you?" She said loudly and made a motion to touch my head, but stopped mid way. "Did Dandy cause this?" She asked, squinting her eyes.

"Kind of. But we're fine. Just need to get cleaned up." I said and gave her a smile while Dandy pouted and groaned.

"Mhm. Still, we should call the doctor for tomorrow. Just to be sure." She said and walked away.

"I need a bath." I said and made my way up the stairs. Dandy followed close behind.

When I opened my door, Dandy still followed me.

"Do you wanna wait for me?" I asked, unsure of what to do.

"I'm in need of a bath, too. Would you mind it if I accompanied you?" He asked shyly.

I starred for a second and nodded. Too embarrassed to speak.

We got into the bath and helped each other get the dirt and blood off.
