Chapter 25: preparations

"Then it's settled." He smiled.

"Well, not really. We still have to get Elsa's permission. It's her freakshow, after all." I said, being reminded of how she sold me.

"That shouldn't be a problem." He simply stated. "Then let's go. It'll also give Mother time to get over the situation." He added.

We got in his car and made our way to the freakshow.

I was quiet the whole time we drove there. What would I say. How would I tell them? And how would they react?
All these thoughts ran through my mind. Until the car stopped.

"Okay. Are you alright, my love?" Dandy asked, and I nodded.

"Just a little bit nervous. I haven't seen them for a while. Didn't even call them or anything." I muttered.

"They didn't either. Elsa knows where you live. They all do." Dandy sighed and kissed my hand.

I nodded and got out of the car. It took a while until I found them. They were all in the big tent, eating lunch.

"Is that y/n!?" I heard Eve yell. And everyone snapped their heads towards me.

"It is!" Jimmy called and ran up to me.

"Hey everyone! I didn't mean to disturb your lunch." I laughed.

"Screw lunch! You're back!" Bette said, and Dot continued, "What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Visiting and bringing news." I smiled.

Dandy had come up behind me and smiled, looking around the place.

"Sweetheart, why don't you tell them everything and catch up with 'em, I'll look for Elsa." He stated and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Yes, come sit with us!" Bette and Dot said, dragging me to the tables.

"You look stunning y/n. Has he been treating you well?" Paul asked.

"Why, thank you! Yes, Dandy's been very good to me. And I'm so sorry I didn't visit sooner, or called! I guess I was just so busy." I explained, and they were all very understanding.

"We would've come visit you, but Elsa said it'd be best to leave you be." Jimmy said, and everyone nodded.

"Well. I'm here now." I said and smiled, hugging them.

"Y/n. What is that?" Ma petite asked as she took my hand. Everyone gasped.

"That's the news. Dandy and I are gonna get married!" I said excitedly.

"But..he bought you? Do you need help? Is this all happening of your own free will?" Bette and Dot asked.

I laughed, "Don't worry, it's all good." And I explained everything to them.
It took a while, but eventually, they seemed to understand.
"And nows the fun part! We're having the ceremony here! If Elsa agrees, that is."

"No way! We get to attend." Suzi said.

"Of course! You are my friends. My family. Who else would I ask to come?"

"Maybe you got new friends now. New family." Jimmy threw in.

"Come on, don't be like that." Ethel scolded.
