Experiment 421 realized sergeant Abby was leaning her head on their shoulder sleeping peacefully as if she forgotten how dangerous 421 was.

Suddenly, they heard the sound of footsteps coming their way. 421 saw the child-like figure of 267 slowly walking towards them.

-You two are getting along? He asked whispering as to not wake up the sergeant.

-I...We weren't bonding...I just told her about a memory I have and she fell asleep, that's all...

267 walked away from the small campsite smiling at the thought of the two getting close.

421 gently shook Abby awake. When she woke up, she looked up at 421 with half closed eyes.

-We should get going, you know. 421 whispered.

-Just one night won't kill us.She whispered back slightly frustrated about her disturbed slumber. You're the one who needs sleep more than I do, out of the two of us.

421 sighed. They lay down in the pile of leaves, letting sleep slowly take over. Suddenly, they felt a weight on their body.

They slowly sat up and after realizing it was the sergeant, they lay back down.

Abby's head was resting on 421's chest, while her arms were around their shoulder, and her legs were intertwined with their legs.

421 could hear her slow breathing as Abby slept peacefully cuddling her "favorite experiment".

Despite the urge to wake her up, they let her sleep. She wasn't supposed to do this. If they were caught, it would threaten Abby's position as a sergeant. They weren't supposed to have this kind of relationship. They weren't supposed to have any intimacy at all, for that matter.

But 421, since the moment they had knew the sergeant, had started to develop strange feelings towards her. Feelings that they couldn't quite describe...Until now.

They wrapped their arms around the sergeant's back as they rolled over to their side with her and fell asleep.
