The Final Exit

Chapter 20: The strong became the weak

Amari was bleeding from all over... Slash marks on her chest, face, and some bruises on her legs and arms. She was panting, her tail releasing a soporific toxin that only she was immune to. 421 was also bleeding. Bruises, rashes, blunt force trauma, just like Amari... But they were still alive and they were exhausted from the toxin released by Amari's red tail covered in all sorts of toxic flowers. Amari then made the finishing blow, a powerful kick to the head, as she rendered421 unconscious.

-You're lucky I spared you, sister... Now I should be on my way to find Oltura.

Amari mumbled to herself as she ran down the hallway in search of the one she loved the most. One by one she killed all of the guards and workers that got in her way. When she finally found Oltura's cell she was exited to see her lover. But when she opened it, it was a disaster:

Oltura bleeding from all places, Abby standing and letting her tears fall while looking blankly at the possibly dead body.... She rushed to Oltura, pushing Abby out of the way so violently that she slammed into the wall.

-Oltura! Please be awake, please.... I don't want to lose you! Please wake up! Please! Amari said, tears filling her eyes and cascading down her bloody, slashed face.

-I'm sorry.... 004... I...I had to take care of her and now I have to take care of you.... Say goodbye...

Abby said with a blank tone with tears still rolling down her cheeks...For a brief moment Abby couldn't feel anything. She was completely numb, void of any emotion. But Amari had one more trick up her sleeve...

-My name is Amari!

Amari screamed as the floor creaked and started shaking. Amari's tears were falling onto Oltura, but her wounds wouldn't heal....

-Allof this is your fault! You're the one who captured us! You're the one who tortured us... YOU! Are the one who planned this and killed Oltura. ALL OF THIS! Because of you!

Amari screamed yet again, and then... All hell broke loose! Plants burst through the floor of the lab, giant vines shot out destroying everything in their path, giant trees broke through the roof of the lab releasing toxic spores. Suddenly the giant vines surging from the ground envelopped Oltura and Amari in blood red cocoons. While Amari was in her cocoon it started glowing with a green light and Amari emerged from it with a new form... Her body was covered in plants, her eyes wide and monstrous, her tail bigger and more powerful, petals of highly poisonous flowers crowned her head. She was over 9'0 tall and Abby was shocked to see all that power packed into one teenage girl.

-It's YOUR fault all of this is happening, you hear me? ALL of this is because of you ABBYGAIL!

Amari's voice was different... Distorted and monstrous.

She lunged towards Abby, but she missed and was shot in the hip as if the sergeant was panicked and lost... But it wasn't enough, so she lunged again, and this time she did not miss. She caught Abby in her powerful claws and roared before slashing her across the face. She raised her hand again but stopped as a female figure about her size covered in a familiar shade of red feathers with golden tips rushed towards her. The dead giveaway was the three pairs of wings... Amari knew who it was... Before Oltura could say a word, Amari pushed her out of the way as a bullet shot through her tail.

While Amari and Oltura were distracted Abby ran into the forest towards the exits, taking advantage of the chaos that ensued to hide her escape. Giant vines bigger than Amari herself, hell, bigger then the lab istelf were slowing dismantling the dome!

Abby ran faster through the forest but all of a sudden she was stopped by the twins Micheal and Michelle. Micheal used his telekinesis powers to slam Abby against a tree... But Michelle collapsed to the ground, visibly in pain. Micheal had forgotten that she was an empath... but then he continued after remembering that she's only affected by thepain and couldn't be injured herself. Abby was out of breath, she had the wind knocked out of her from the impact. But then... her skin was turning white ? Although she couldn't see herself, her eyes were turning bright red while her hair faded to white and grew down to her knees. She looked at her hands and saw her nails turning into sharp claws, she then grabbed her head... as she moved her hands up her ears she felt they ended in points.

-Lets go brother! I can see 421 not far from here!

-Alright sis... Lets get Amari and Oltura under control and get out of here!

The twins agreed before heading back towards the lab. Abby fell. She felt a sudden intense pain as her head hit the ground. As her vision blurred she could just barely make out what seemed to be 421 rushing towards her. She felt them lift her head and heard the muffled sound of their voice. It sounded like she was underwater, she could not make out the words.

421 had been frantically searching the forest for Abby when they realized that she was nowhere to be found in the lab. They gently cradled Abby's head as she seemed to be fading in and out of consciousness.

-Abby! Oh god! Are you alright?

421 asked shuddering at the giant bleeding gash across Abby's face. They lifted her up carrying her in their arms to get her away, vines releasing poisonous spores hot on their tail... It was a mess and no one knew how to control it except Amari.
