It was mid-morning, both of us were sweating by then. But we weren't done yet there was still a lot of time left before we had to get back. We threw punches and kicks at each other. She's good, and disciplined. She has good concentration. But she lacks speed and agility. A week of training in our ways is not enough. She needs more time, more training.

I launched quickly at her when she jumped away, but I was able to grab her from her feet, she'd moaned when I held on tight. I then jumped from the ground and using my strength I threw as hard as I could to the ground. She rubbed her butt from the pain that received from hitting the ground. I rolled my eyes, knowing I didn't hit her that hard. If anything, I was going easy on her. She got up after a minute, and we'd continued for another hour of training. She threw a punch at me nearly hitting me, meaning that she caught on quick. So quick that she quickly threw a round punch, I'd blocked, but the punch was still hard enough to feel pain from it.

I grinned my teeth, keeping myself from letting a yell out. I even shake my hands a bit from the pain allowing her to have a break and breathe a little. It was almost like she likes being in a battle or in a fight. I find that a little interesting to say the least.

"Definitely something to tell our mate," I heard Iris say over mindlink.

She's not wrong about that. It's definitely something I need to tell Bill later when we get back. But now I am beginning to see that there is something valuable in her.

I was breathing heavily, and feeling the sweat from the hair falling down to my cheek. Aunt Athena was training me harder than Uncle Bill did on the first day. But you know what, I do wish she stops horsing around here, I want to give it all. To actually show her what I'm capable of. I can feel the power surging through me, Erick's power. It's building up.

"You grow stronger for every battle you fight, Sara," I heard James over the mindlink. He's Erick's wolf and we've become best friends. Though, I believe James misses him. I often hear James whining whenever Erick and I are together. James says that it's a bond that forms after a person becomes a werewolf. That bond is so close, it can never break no matter what drives them separate. But it's only been 3 days, next week he'll be back with Erick in no time.

"I can only hope so, sometimes when a werewolf is separate from his/her wolf, it could be longer than normally should and the bond begins to their new partner and change forms to match," he says. I was confused about that. I mean it wouldn't be a bad thing, would it? "When wolf spirits change partners, and change forms, everything about them changes. I would be nothing but a memory. If anything."

"And Erick?" I asked.

"He won't remember me at all," he said. "Or would remember that he was even a werewolf at all."

"Well, let's make sure that never happens," I said.

"Hey, let's keep at it!" I heard Aunt Athena cry. "It's almost time to get back and we still need to do a lot more training before then."

...

We worked for about an hour more, then went back home using the Transfer Circle. Where we saw Uncle Bill waiting for us near the entrance to the mainlands. Was he there all morning? It didn't matter for Aunt Athena as she threw a wide smile at her and it didn't stop her from darting to him and giving them a kiss either. I'd admire them for having that kind of love, and couldn't wait to get to Erick.

"How did it go?" I heard Uncle Bill talking to Aunt Athena.

"She's good, dear, but she lacks agility and speed," Aunt Athena honestly said.
