Erick

I was in James's form as I howled after hearing Sara scream so loud. Making everyone run just as fast as lightning striking across the sky. I growled as I got ahead of everyone else. Alpha Bill and Luna Athena manage to catch up and growl at me. Really? Showing their leadership display at a time like this?

I stopped as soon as I saw why they growled at me. Two soldiers at the front entrance of a spooky cave. I was panting rapidly as Alpha Bill and Luna Athena stood beside me.

"Control your breathing, Erick," I heard him say.

"He's right, Erick, you'll give away our position," Athena said.

I laid down when they looked and studied the entrance. I didn't realize I burned out a lot of energy, all I heard was Sara.

"Alright, gather up gang," I heard Alpha Bill, as I watched him turn around to look at us. "Right, for this plan to work, we need to be in our human forms and divided into two teams."

Everyone including me turned into our human forms and immediately got into two teams. One for Alpha Bill to lead and one for Luna Athena.

"Right, so for this to work, Luna Athena will lead her team to take out the guards, meanwhile we get in to go and look for Sara and get out quick," he said. Then he looked at me. "You stay here."

"What? Why?" I asked, as he smiled. "Because you need to let Damion and Ariana know where we are. We can't stop him alone, plus you'll be the last remaining warrior if things go south. Not to mention you're too close to this."

"Sara's my mate, Alpha! Of course, I'm close to this, but I can control my emotions and besides, you need me to find her," I said.

"No, Erick, we don't need you for this, we can follow her scent, there's no need to go rapidly into a fight," he said. "You need to calm yourself before doing that. And right now, Erick, you're filled with emotions. You won't be able to focus trying to save your mate."

I looked down to the ground with sad eyes.

"Don't worry, Erick, we'll get her, but we'll need help with that," he said, tapping shoulder. "That's why we need you here. And don't worry there will be a time for you to fight, just not right now."

I nodded and watched them leave me behind. Once alone I walked away from the area for a bit and yelled, but at the same time I heard James howling.

...

After I had my moment, I called Damion to let him know about our location. I have to complete our Alpha's order considering going against him means I can become rogue. And it's the last thing I need right now. So I waited for Damion and when he'd arrived with Ariana, I could see that he was just as fragile as me and he was crying.

"Is my daughter in there?" he asked. I nodded. "Right, let's go."

"But, Alpha Bill said I should stay put," I said, and whined as soon as I saw his angry eyes.

"I don't care what Bill says, This Is My Daughter! And we are going."

...

I gulped as we walked into the creepy cave and at the same time I saw Ariana cast a small spell that would give her a green light. It only helped with our pathway and didn't light the entire cave. But at least we won't be able to get into traps and fall over the edges.

"How are we able to get our daughter back, Damion?" She asked, Damion shook his head.

"I don't know," he said, my eyes got all watery and I gave a small whine.
