The pain grew stronger leaving me down to the ground, pressing my face hard on that ground and it made my face really red. I was partially screaming at this point. In fact, I think I grabbed the attention of two teachers because I felt them picking me up. I looked up and saw Erick was also in pain. I wanted to scream for him, but I was feeling my body twisting and turning, and the two teachers were holding on to me tightly just to get me to hold still. They took me to a room where I can be alone as I continue with my transformation. By now, I know what I am becoming and felt my nose growing. Reshaping into something, when I touch it, it feels canine, and hairy.
My scream painfully and slowly turned into a growl. So, this is it, this is how it feels for Erick, for Uncle Bill when they turned into a werewolf. My hands turned into paws and hunched down like a dog. Eventually, my transformation was complete. I'm a werewolf! But what about Erick, where is he and why is not in this room with me.
Erick
This switch felt so strange, and I never had so much pain in my life. But I'm glad that it's over. It's so strange, this was Sara's powers? I thought she was just a vampire mix, but I'm feeling something else here. Something much more powerful. I looked around the empty classroom that I found myself in and tried to catch my breath.
I quickly went to see if the door was open. I wiggled the knob to see and found it locked tight. I laughed at the idea, because I found it funny, knowing that this is what the teachers do all the time when students switch species. And they do it to protect the other students, so no surprise there. But I really don't have time for this, therefore, I tried to grab someone's attention by knocking hard on the door. There wasn't time to waste. I got to see if Sara survived the switch. I continued to knock hard on the door, I was desperate, because I heard stories about students dying during the switch. Their forms are all there left of their loved ones. When no one came, I dropped to my knees and started to think the worst.
...
I was crying, too much time had passed and no one came to tell me Sara's condition. Crap, why did it have to be us? Today of all days? After all, we hadn't told her father that we were mates? What do I tell him now?
I must have been too busy crying for a while now, considering I didn't hear the door open or felt a tongue licking me on the right cheek. What grabbed my attention was a wet and cold nose that touched my neck followed by a small whine. I was scared, but slowly looked up at a wolf sitting next to me.
"Sara?" I wondered as it gave me another small whine. I wiped my tears from my face, or at least tried to as I hugged her tight. I sniffed a couple of times. "I was so worried about you, sweetie."
"She was worried about you too, dear boy," I heard someone explain. I looked up and saw Mr. Franklin. He's our Social studies Of Supernaturals teacher, Sara's favorite class and her favorite teacher. "Come now, it's alright. You two will be okay."
I nodded my head and hugged Sara even harder for a while, I just didn't want to let her go.
...
Afterwards, we were in the principal office. She had us sitting for about 30 minutes when she came in and saw us with our new forms. She sat in her chair and calmly asked. "Now, you two understand that the switch lasts a week, in and out of school?"
I nodded my head and Sara only gave her a small whine. "Good, I will let your parents know what happened and to also let them know how successful it was with the two of you."
I sighed as she turned to me and continued. "Erick, I understand, that you were worried about Sara?"
"I was," I answered, petting Sara's head. "This switch was so painful. Much more than my past switches."
