Brain Lakeshore

I was busy with a certain someone, meaning my wife, and mate, bonding in our bed, enjoying our evening and making out. And just as we were about to get physical, I got a phone call.

"Duty calls?" she asked, noticing that I was rubbing my eyes after seeing Damion's name on my iPhone. She smiles as she hears me moaning at the idea.

I looked at her and noticed her in her favorite nightgown.

"Well answer, it might be important."

So, I did and got a very frantic and very disturbing voice at the other end. I never heard Damion like that, considering he was just rambling. The only thing I was able to understand was Seth and Jailcell?

"What-whoa, buddy, slow down," I said. "What happened?"

"What's going on?" My wife asked.

"I got to go to Willow," I said, hanging Damion up and heading out the door. "I'll be back soon."

She sighed and saw me turn the corner.

...

At Willow's Prison, I had my car parked outside, and I was texting Damion. I mean I wasn't sure what I was supposed to be doing here. I mean, this is the most secured prison in all of Phantom Moon. The founders set it up as a personality before disappearing. They even put a spell to make sure of it.

Damion text me back with a very simple plea.

Please, for Sara's sake?

I sighed and got out of the car, feeling a chilling breeze. I walked until I reached the front desk, where Kyla was on duty tonight. There's always someone different, from her to a guy.

"Oh, hey, Brain," she greeted, smiling at me.

"Hey Kyla."

"What can I do for you tonight?" She asked.

I sighed and said, "Kyla, I need you to do me a favor."

"What kind?"

"I need to see inmate #125447."

"Okay, but be warned, he's been doing a lot of weird stuff since you and Damion left."

"Oh, like what?" I asked.

"You'll see."

I scratched my and thanked her, not just to let me in to see Seth, but also for the warning. Then another officer guided me to his cell and saw him right where he should be. Somehow, I knew this was a total waste of my time. Still, I walked towards the cell to get a closer look. I could hear him, mumbling something. Sounded like a dark spell performed only by the dark creatures. It brings me chills seeing such a spell being performed live. I could see now how Damion was always on edge with his brother.

Anyway, I got close enough to his cell and cleared my throat. It got his attention, as he looked up with reddish eyes, a clear sight of pure evil. He smiled as if he was happy to see me for some reason.

"Hello, Detective Lakeshore, I'm assuming you're here on behalf of my brother?" He asked, his voice was deeper than before.

"Yes, that's correct," I answered, feeling the hairs on the back of my neck standing up. "Just what are you up to, scandal?" I heard my wolf, Joseph. It got me curious too.

"He wanted to know if I'm still here in my cell?" Again, he asked. I just nodded. "Considering he believes that I somehow violated the terms of our agreement?"
