Part 34

Gabrielle's POV

I'm currently at home at my parents, ang daming tumtakbo sa isip ko ngayon. Hindi na ako kumportable sa trabaho, ever since Rachel started to manage the whole thing. Parang she is always watching me.

"Anak, kamusta naman ang trabaho mo?", Tanong sa akin ni nanay Rose habang nagluluto siya sa kitchen.

"Okay naman po, pero these past few days hindi na po ako kumportable because of Rachel". Sagot ko habang nagkakape ako.

"Wala na ba siyang chance sayo nak? Mabait naman si Rachel at masipag", sagot ni nanay Rose

"Sa sobrang sipag po nanay Rose, nakakalimutan na niya na may karelasyon po siya at iniiwan nalang niya basta basta kapag may business trip or relocation na ganap". Sagot ko at nag flashback lahat ng nangyari sa amin.

"Baka naman ngayon handa na siya mag settle down at naabot na niya yung mga pangarap niya", Sagot naman ni nanay Rose.

"Naku nanay Rose, kayo po ha botong boto kayo kay Rachel". Biro ko at tawang tawa naman si nanay.

"Hay anak ko, basta kung saan ka masaya doon boto si nanay". Sagot naman niya at inihahanda na yung mga pagkain.

Tinulungan ko naman si nanay Rose iprepare yung dining table. Nakita ko naman yung parents ko papunta sa dining area.

"I'm glad you could make it and eat with us", sabi ni mom at umupo na sa maya dining area"

"Of course mom, namiss ko kayo ni Dad", I looked at him  and saw a little smirk on his face.

"I had a chat with Rachel the other day Gab about some business she recently owned and asked for some advice, do you know anything about this?" Tanong ni Dad while he started picking on his food

I know my Dad had always been in favor towards Rachel. Siya na mismo nagsabi sa akin na she has a lot of potential to become a CEO one day and she admires her enthusiasm about work things.

They also know we had a massive fall out after a relationship.

"Uhm, I haven't really spoke with her much Dad and I have no interest", sabi ko and he just looked at me

"I think you should start talking to her again para naman she can guide you and you'll never know maybe someday you can rebuild your relationship with her", napatingin ako kay Dad and he looked at me genuinely

"Really Dad? I don't need anyone's help when it comes to being successful. I can do that all on my own, plus I will never ask Rachel for help", sabi ko. This is really pissing me off. Like what did they really talk about ba. I don't think business lang ang pingusapan nila.

I looked at my mom, who was sitting down quietly next to my Dad. She mouthed to me, "we'll talk later".
My mom knows everything about me and Rachel. She was there when I was feeling down when Rachel left me.

"Just think about it Anak, okay. Anyways, I'll be upstairs in my office if you need me. Thank you Nanay Rose for the delicious food", sabi ni Dad and he kissed my mom on the forehead.

"I'm going to be honest with you Anak, I was there when you're Dad was on the phone with Rachel, and she did asked for some advice about her new company pero she also asked our permission if she could court you again. I can feel the sincerity naman from her and she explained herself why she'd left you before. Now I understand kung Bakit niya nagawa yun" sabi ni mom while sipping her wine.

Para akong natanga sa sinabi ni mommy dahil are they really believing my ex. She's so good at talking and persuading people. 

"Okay mom. I don't really want to talk about this right now. I'll head upstairs and rest for a little bit.  Thank you nanay Rose for the food". 

"Okay anak, just think about it okay". Sabi niya and nakipagkwentuhan na siya kay Nanay Rose. 

BZZZ BZZZZ BZZZZZ

*Maria Calling*

Nagtaka naman ako kung bakit siya tumatawag. 

- Hello Maria - sagot ko, nakahiga lang ako dito sa kama ko. 

-Oh hey, uhm gusto ko lang sana mag sorry dahil nag walkout ako and don sa nasabi ko, it was very unprofessional of me - sabi niya 

- Don't apologise, okay lang yun and you were just stating your opinion, so it's okay- sagot ko, weird lang at kailangan pa niya akong tawagan just to apologise, eh magkikita din naman kami sa trabaho. 

- Uhm, free ka ba? Pwede tayong magkita?- tanong niya. Wala pa naman ako sa mood lumabas ngayon bakit naman kaya niya naisipan lumabas and ako pa talaga gusto niya kabonding.  

- Ahh sige, where do you want to meet - tanong ko. 

Sinend nalang niya sa akin yung address. Nagmadali naman ako nagbihis. I could feel my heart racing. Sobrang excited akong makita siya and at the same time I was a bit confused. 

Pagbaba ko ng staircase namin, may naririnig akong kausap ni Nanay Rose and I could hear my mom laughing with a familiar voice. Dumiretcho ako sa dining room and there she was. 

Rachel is with my mom and nanay Rose having a conversation and mukhang enjoy na enjoy pa sila. 

She looked at me and winked. I could see her eyeing me up and down. 

Here we go again!!
