Fire everywhere, lightning shooting from the skies, heavy rain. Flashes of Pokémon, strong Pokémon fighting something, you see them all attacking what seemed to be darkness, but the darkness consumes and consumes. Devouring each Pokémon one by one, it comes closer and closer to you. Mew shows up in your face trying to tell you something, suddenly BEEP BEEP BEEP then silence, then it continues but louder BEEP BEEP BEEP it continues this cycle until...
"AAAA-" I fell out of bed out of fear. "Ow. What the hell was that dream about? "I got up from the floor to turn off my alarm clock. What a wonderful way to start the day off I thought, but I shouldn't be bummed out about some stupid nightmare, today was finally the day me and my friends will become Pokémon trainers! I did my usual routine and bolted for the door until "Leaving without eating breakfast?" "Mommmm come on I just want to get my first Pokémon" I said in a whiny tone. "Without your breakfast? Absolutely not, besides you need to wait for your sister!" my mom exclaimed. "But mom-" my mom cuts me off with a serious tone "You better eat your breakfast now before I get the slipper." "Y-yes ma'am!" I said nervously. I went to the dining table and ate. As I was eating my breakfast, my sister Skyla came down, for the first time she's actually ready to leave. Normally she takes her sweet time to do things and I'd have to miss multiple things because of her. I quickly finished my breakfast and put on my shoes. "Now remember Leo, be safe out there and take care of Skyla, you're responsible for whatever happens to her" my mom said in a stern tone. "Yes mom I know nothing will happen I Promise". Skyla gets her shoes on and we can finally leave. I'm absolutely ecstatic, I can't wait to finally have my own Pokémon! Me and Skyla say our goodbyes and we leave our house heading to the lab. This is the first time we'll be gone for a while. A part of me is afraid of what lies on our path, but at the same time I'm intrigued and excited. After a walk that felt like an eternity we finally made it to the lab. "Sky you ready for our Pokémon adventure to begin?" "Sure am!" sky said excitedly. We then proceeded to open the lab doors to see what our first Pokémon shall be.
