Great. Absolutely marvelous from my head to non painted toe nails. We were still sitting in the exact same spot. I never thought I was in the literal underworld. My only concept of it was never ending torcher and sorrow. This definitely has that, but with a price. It was like a town. Dark and black town with no lights. It burdens me. However, It wasn't loose, in other words people definitely had different degrees of afterlife. Walking with Isolde, We came across beautiful white gates.
"Wow..I..Why does this feel Familiar?" Whispered Sulis.
"What?" I asked her.
"It's..it's like I know this place..Like..I think..Are these—"
I unintentionally cut her off,
"What are these?"
"The gates of Elysium." Said a Man, he looked different from everyone else there. The appearance of an Indo European with eyes that seemed be he dark with blue flecks. He had medium deep almond skin tone, Sandy brown natural hair, and wore clothes that show he came from another culture a long time ago. He freaked me and my friend out. She hid behind me.
"Pff, I can't believe I even been trying for so long to go there"
Sulis hides behind me more, "I am sorry- who are you?"
He snickered, "Call me Thamyris."
"Who?" I replied. He frowns. "Somehow my name was forgotten. Utter nonsense." He claps his hands together. "Welp! My darlings welcome to the The Fields of Asphodel"
Sul and I look at each other scared and concerned. This was real.. He speaks again, "Ha..Demigods."
"What?!" Sulis and I shout at the same time. He nods, "You two certainly aren't dead. And I can Tell you certainly didn't need to escape tartarus like me."
"What-" I said. Though Thamyris continued, "So you're demigods. I know. So unfair, I'm wonderful, but eh. Life isn't fair. Or in this case the afterlife haha!" He chuckles. "The point is, kids, you have a whole God-like aura around you. I'm not sure who your Godly parents are. And I assuredly hope you aren't offspring of The muses. But I can rest ashore if you two found a way here, You can find a way out." He gets up and dusts himself, "Just keep me out of it please." Sulis and I look at each other and nod agreement, "No" I blurt. "What did you say?" He turned back to ask. "No. Thamyris." I shake my head. "We certainly aren't keeping you out of this. You escaped tartarus didn't you? Well, you can help us escape these fields." He looks over at us. And begins to laugh, "Right. Hey, next time a Fury takes you to the underworld, I recommend you don't trust every random person you find. Not a good idea. So get out of my sight."
"You're right, it's not." I say. "But we have to at least try. Maybe try to get out of sight to go someplace better?..." I point at Elysium. He looks.
"Ughhh...hmm.." He hesitated. "Fine. I'll help you. But we aren't going anywhere Near Hades Palace. If he finds out, if anyone finds out I escaped, we are toast. Capeesh?" Sulis and I nod our heads.
"Good." He takes out a bag [near the rock on floor duh], "Let's Get Going Half Bloods."
