Pov Switch, Annabeth and shopping

Annabeth and her parents went Shopping. They didn't need to check out in their hotel yet. So they just walked around. Annabeth Saw something that Caught her eye off into the distance. She Saw What seemed to be a girl. She saw another girl with a guy behind her, Chatting with a boy who looked awfully Familiar. A boy with his mom. So she Got closer. But randomly. The 3 people Left Quickly to the shop. Annabeth sat down. Thinking it was nothing but then got suspicious for some odd reason the man was the one wearing the new Hoodie. None of the girls got one. So for some reason she decided to get close again.

"Annabeth, what are you doing?"

"Ah! Oh hey dad." She Said. "Honey, you just slipped away.."

"Yea sorry dad. I thought I saw someone I knew, I guess."

"Ah. Well alrighty. Come fast-"

"Actually I will meet up with you and mom" she tells him. "I Wanna stay here for a bit and maybe go to some stores"

He nods, "Ok dear. Be careful"

"I know dad, Tch. No one's gonna mess with me. I'm a Chase"

"Of course. Meet us at the Front in half an hour" he tells her and then leaves. She sits there for a bit. The relaxing girl, the other girl, and the Guy Flip and begin to hide in one of the closed off areas. "What the-"

"Hey!" Taps Percy.

"Ah! Oh you! It's you! You remember me!" She blushes a bit "Yea. Sorry Annabeth. Great to see you again but I was leaving.." he tells her.

"Oh.." she replies. "Uh that's ok! I'll see you around I guess!"

He gives a small smile and nods. Then leaves with a woman, Who was his mother. Annabeth assumed. She looked back. And something happens, she sees ladies by the closed off store but then a flash of something appears. "Huh?" She blinks. But the flash leaves "eh" Annabeth didn't think much of it. She saw a slushy machine, so bought herself a drink. Then Met up with her Father and stepmother. They really didn't buy anything but saw Annabeth Kinda did. "I'm fine. Thank you, I'll carry it"

"Ok Honey, good. But we have to make it back to the Tour" Frederick Tells her. "Can we do something else?" Annabeth frowned, "well-" her mother suggested and They Just Drover To see Some of The Road and Quite Forest like Area not too far from everything. "I'm so glad you guys had enough gas for this." Annabeth claimed. Her father chuckles. "Yep. Uh..actually we have to fill her up." And so He goes to a nearby gas station. It seemed to be the only place there. Annabeth Looked around and Saw the same three people she saw at the store: the girl who spoke to Percy, the other girl, and the guy with the small Hoodie. "What?" She frowned but was generally confused. She grabs her sunglasses, her drinks, and goes over there While they are having a conversation. She overhears them needing a place to stay. And lets them in on what she hopes was helpful information. Later, since she was still a little bit suspicious, she Asked her dad if they can return tomorrow.

Driving in the car with his mother, Percy stares out at the window as the traffic was getting less and less crowded, upset that he didn't ask Annabeth for her number.

Sally Jackson Smirked, "I saw you talking to That girl. You just went up and tapped her on the shoulder to get her to notice you. So?..She your new friend?"

"Oh her? Yeah. Just someone I met at the Park."

"That's nice sweetie, I'm sorry we had to leave so early." She sighs.

"Nah. It's fine Mom, it's just Stink Gabes Fault."

Sally chuckles, "Stinky Gabe?"

"Y-Yea." Percy Blushed. "I just made a Haha..Nickname for him."

"Well don't Let him find out." Sally saids.

"Yea. He's Gonna be Pissed if He does." Percy adds, Sally yells, "Percy!"

"Ok ok! I'm sorry mom! Sorry" he laughed. She frowns. "Skater boys are a bad influence" Sally mutters under her breath. They drive home. Even if it really wasn't much of one for them.

Percy Took his mom's Hands. As soon as they both walked in, Gabe was laughing at the Tv and drinking, when he saw them, he grunted, "There you two Are! Finally, Little dirtbag, do my laundry! Sally! grab me my beer from the fridge!" He Yells. Percy Grunts but was scared, "N-No! I won't! Do it yourself -!" and At the moment, Sally panics, because Gabe came over and Slapped Percy hard, "Stop!" She cried. Percy Cried. And Gabe Pushed Sally out of the way. He laughs, "That's what you get you Annoying Runt!" He tells Percy. Percy Cries, and Gets up and Runs to his Room. Sally on the floor, Gets up and shouts, "I'm calling the Police! And you better get your Ass Out of here!"

"Oh really? You want to do that?" He wickedly Grins, "Are you sure about that Sally?.."

Sally was Conflicted. She heard Percy crying in his Pillows. She Made a fist, and said, "fine..I'll ..Get your beer.." She walks over to the Kitchen. Still hearing Percy Crying. She Tries to control her tears but she mutters Under her breath, "I wish it was poison."

Percy Still cried in his room. He mom tried to open the door but he was in no mood,

"Mommy! just leave! Not now!" It made Sally even more sad and Conflicted. "Honey.."

"Mom why do you stay with that Freak?!" He cries to her, "I wanna leave!" He tells her, "I'm sorry it just- "

"Mom! Just what?!" He asked her, still tearing. "I..I promise we'll leave him. For good. You- have to trust me. It's gonna be ok? Ok?" Percy Sniffs. "Ok.."

"I'm so very sorry." Sally puts her hand on the cheek Gabe slapped him on.

"Yea. Whatever." He replies. She kisses him. "Take nap honey." She tells him and leaves.

A few hours later, Gabe fell asleep on the Couch, and the news was on. Percy walked to the Living room and

Saw it,

"Lion, expected to escape from the Zoo! chased a car on the highway! The Vehicle was Open from the trunk! Police are investigating this vehicle but since it was so damaged no license plate was found on it!"

"What the..-" Percy Whispers as he comes closer to the Tv. "Only thing that was seen was this Bike That was reported to Ride near it, and this was the only shot of it."

Percy Looked Closer and Saw the Most Crazy Revelation.

"Nancy and Grover?!" He shouts, then Covers it mouth. Scared and shivering but Gabe was almost deaf in his sleep. Percy was so confused and Freaked out. Why in the world would there be a lion chasing a car on the highway? How the heck did that even happen? The zoo is closed these days of the week! Why In the world would Grover and Nancy be Riding on the same MotorBike? How did They Even get a motorbike?

Percy had so many questions racing through his Head. But one thing was for sure.

Percy opened the room to his mom's Door,

"Mom, I think I kinda wanna ask that girl out." He tells her but his tone was serious.
