Adelade is stealthy and quick, being the trickiest to catch when they inevitably get into trouble. The Carthyans worry what will happen when it is time to pass down the throne, but the royals and regents have privately decided that she will be declared queen. This will all be announced to the people at the right time. The presumably unshakable princess is loyal and kind, but the people fail to recognize how the poor girl crumbles under pressure. Neither her parents nor the kingdom recognized. Therefore, they told her that she would one day be queen. That was many years ago. Today she has learned to live with the fear and question of her own being and not let it consume her completely.
