"Would you like to join me?"

E-exuse me?" I asked, being shooked at his question. "Would you like to join me?" He repeated. I paced for some seconds to process correctly what he said, but I was just confused with what he's trying to say. "What do you mean join you?" I asked. 'I have to be sure of what he's trying to say. This might be a possible endless trap if I'll accept his offer.' "Join my team, that is." He replied, leaning onto his chair. "What does your 'team' do." I made my expression serious. It seemed he noticed. "Well..." He stood up and glanced at the window, slowly widening the curtains. "We mostly assassinate our chosen targets and maybe destroy some unwanted Alternative Universes." 'Hold on, Alternative Universes!?... this is really risky.'  "Why do you want me to join?"

". . ."

"Well, we are in need of a new recruit, so I thought you would be the perfect fit." He turned to me. "And maybe let out that pure anger that you've been holding in for years." I looked at him. "H-how did you- oh right." I lowered my attention to the ground. "So, what do you say, Kira?"

". . ."

_"I'll think about it."

_"Wonderful. Remind me if you had made your decision."

_"Hmm. I will."

"So, you like the pancakes I made for you?" I asked, watching Ruru take a bite at the chocolate-filled pancake. "MHm. Th3 ChOcOlAt3 tAsTe NiCe." He said, cutting a piece of the pancake with a fork. "H3Re." He held out a fork with a cutted piece of the pancake. "Ah, no thank you, I made the pancakes for you, so enjoy them yourself." He frowned at me, but I waved at him to reassure him I didn't want it. "AtL3AsT tAk3 It eV3n jUsT oN3 bIte." He said. A sigh slipped from my lips(?). "Do I have a choice?" He shook his head a no. "N0w oP3n Up." He held out the fork once more. I let out a small chuckle. "I can feed myself. You do know that, right?" He furrowed his non-existent brows at me. "ShUt Up aNd l3t Me fe3D yOu." He growled. "Alright, alright." I giggled. He reached out the fork, and I happily took it. As soon as the fork was out of my mouth, I was slightly shocked that I could feel the chocolate melt in my mouth.

"Gwosh, it tastes, actually quite good!" I said while my mouth was still stuffed with the pancake. "B3 cAreFulL, yOu mIgHt cHok3 on It." He replied. After I finished swallowing the pancake, I heard steps come from the stairs to the living room. As soon as the steps entered the dining room, it revealed that the steps came from Kira. "Oh, hello to both of you." She greeted. "Hello Kira, would you like to join us?" I could hear Ruru growl quietly, but could still be heard. "Mhm. Thank you." She said before proceeding to the drawers to find a plate and some utensils. After that, she sat beside me and took one pancake, then started slowly munching on it. "Are you alright? You seem to be deep in your thoughts." I asked, worry was written in my tone. Error seemed to notice as well. "Not much, just thinking what Nightmare said." She said before eating a slice of the pancake. 'What is he planning now.' I glanced at Ruru, which he gave me an eye contact that he was thinking what I was. I then returned my attention back to Kira. "Well, what did he say?"

"He asked if I could join his team." There was a moment of silence, but then Error spoke. "DId h3 sAy aNyThInG ab0Ut tH3 tEaM?" He questioned, lifting his gaze towards Kira. She nodded. I looked at Ruru, who seemed to be interested in what Nightmare's planning. "HAv3 y0U d3CiDed?" She shook her head no. "I have to think about it first before deciding my final answer." Error hummed in response. Minutes passed, Ruru had finished his pancake, and Kira finished hers. I didn't realise how long we were chatting that it was already 1:50 pm. I'm also not surprised that the bad sanses didn't eat lunch knowing they might have eaten lunch at their lovers' place or at their AU.
