-=Ink's point of view=-Me and Pj were currently standing in front of Dream's house. I held my hand up and then knocked on the door two times. I heard small shuffling and footsteps behind the door, and then it opened. "Ink? Why visit me so late at night?" Dream said, rubbing his right eye socket. "An argument occurred between me and Error, I just thought visiting you might let me ponder for a bit." I said, trying to sound calm. "Is Lux still awake? Pj is really excited to meet her, is that alright?" I asked, trying to take a peek inside. "Sure, Lux is still awake. Come in." He said, moving away to let us in.
We went in, and the inside was much warmer than outside, it seems cosy, too. A fireplace lit on the right, in front of it was a red cushioned armchair, a shelf hovered with pictures, toys, small plants, and books that stood at the wall covering it beside the fireplace. Lux was happily drawing on a thick rug just beside the armchair. She looked up and showed the brightest smile she had ever since I saw her. She ran towards Pj, hugging him tightly, and Pj hugged back.
"I thought we could only meet at school! I am so happy you are here!" She beamed, earning a chuckle from Dream. "Hey, Ink." Dream whispered behind me, catching my attention. I turned around and met his warm yet judgefull gaze. "Tell me what is bothering you to make you come here so late." He said blankly, narrowing his eyes a little at me. "Well. . . Me and Error fought. But this time, it was more intense." I said, looking to my side. ". . . 'This time'? So you are saying that it was not the first time you both had an argument?" He crossed his hands on his chest, looking at me wearily. "Yeah. . . I did not notice Pj saw us both fight with each other." He sighed, staring at the two who started drawing. "Are you alright then?" He asked. "Maybe." I said, staring at Pj and Lux. They were giggling, talking and laughing with each other. It was a sweet moment of them. I took my phone out of my pocket and then snapped a picture of them sneakily. I then returned my phone back to my pocket.
"Hey sweetheart, why are you still not in-. . . Bed." We both looked at the stairs just beside the large shelf and saw Cross glaring at me with his eyes slightly widened. "Oh, sweetheart. I will have to watch Pj and Lux for a little longer and keep your younger brother some company." Dream smiled warmly at his husband. Cross wearily walked down the stairs and towards me. "What are you doing here." Cross asked sternly. "I just dropped Pj here for a little. I do not intend to cause more misunderstandings." I replied. "Why call it a misunderstanding? It was obvious you tried to kick us out." I fell silent. I knew talking back would make it worse.
"Talk will you." Cross growled. "You had the audacity to show up knowing we had a heated argument. Now, you come here and use your child as an excuse to appear. How selfish can you be?" He sounded slightly mocking in the last sentence. I glared at him in return, glancing at the children then to him. He looked behind him and saw the kids happily make small tricks of their magic. He then turned to me and let out a small growl. "Sweetheart, he is only here to drop Pj by after he endeavoured a horribly intense argument of him and Error. I understand you do not want to see him, but please, for the sake of Pj, do not quarrel." Dream said, stumbling slightly. Cross then glanced at his partner then at me. He ended up sighing and hugged Dream gently, his facing softening and his body slowly being relaxed.
He mumbled something, but it was audible for me to know what he said. "Fine. . ." I looked away slightly. I could feel tears threaten to fall down, yet I held them back. They reminded me so much of Error and me before the arguments. I felt so jealous, disappointed, and desperate to be with him again. My nose stung, and I turned around and gently opened the door, and I went out. I covered my mouth with my hands, and black ink poured down to my cheeks. 'Why am I being so emotional?' A thought spiralled in my mind. Then another. 'He was right about me being selfish, and it was my fault the argument was so heated. . .' I choked on my throat, holding in whimpers and the sound of sobbing.
I collapsed down to the small staircase and sat down, breathing heavily. I heard the door behind me open gently, then close. "Ink, are you alright -" Dream cut himself off as he saw my tears strolling down as I cried a river. "I-Ink- are you alright?" Dream asked once again, but I did not respond. I heard Dream stood up and whispered lightly. It sounded like he was talking to someone. I did not bother who it was, but my guess was it was Cross.
Later on, Dream tried to comfort me. He did manage to calm me down, but I merely just stared down blankly with a few tears falling down. I then heard someone teleport in front of me. I looked up, and my eyes widened as I saw who it was.
". . . Error. . . ?"
