Chapter 6: 《"Apologies"》

●This is just Error bei-, oh, hold up. I don't wanna spoil u guys. But I'm gonna fix my grammar a bit, to just u know, make use of what I'm learning on English. But you can consider this a late valentines chapter. I have a low Internet connection, so thank you for being patient. If you notice some errors/misspellings, please ignore it, bc I just started writing at 10:00 pm. Alr now. Let's get back to the chapter.

Kiki drifted off to sleep after crying for a few minutes. I felt guilty due to the fact that I was at fault, too. If I had let him go, he wouldn't be so embarrassed that he'd cry a river. I was thinking of apologising when he woke up, but for now, I'd have to be patient and let him rest. I haven't seen him sleep so peaceful. (Ink has sleep deprivation.) And this was truly a rare sight. 'Adorable.' I thought. I suddenly felt eyes staring at me. I looked at the three skeletons who had their eye sockets glued on to me as they watched me pat the smol skeletons skull.

"WhAt?" I asked, being annoyed by the way they glared at me. "You guys are sickening." The small blue skeleton responded. "Swap!" Dream silently yelled. "You two shouldn't be too loud. We might accidently wake him up." Cross concluded. "Now come on, we need to give the two lovers some space." He added before walking upstairs. Dream followed, and Swap just left. I felt sleepy as well, so I closed my 'eyes' and drifted off to sleep. I woke up with someone gently shaking me to wake up. I opened my eye sockets and saw the smol skeleton whispering my name while gently shaking me.

"Oh, you're finally awake," "HoW wAS yoUR sLeEp?" I asked, in my glitchy tone sitting up. "It was great. I haven't had a peaceful sleep since last week." He replied, showing a sweet, soft smile. "ThAts goOd tHeN." I responded. "Where are the others? I haven't seen them." He questioned. "ThEy leFt WhEn yOu fElL asLEeP." I replied, grabbing the smaller to sit in my lap. He was shocked by the sudden action I made. His face was tinted with a bright red blush as he looked at me, "W-whats this f-for? Ruru?" He stuttered, looking down at the floor. "NoThIng." I said as I put my hands on his waist, making him squeal lightly. 'How adorable...' sudden dirty thoughts was swimming through my mind.

'Shit, keep it together, Error...' I mentally cursed at myself. A few seconds of silence until I finally managed to mutter some words. "HeY KikI, soRrY fOr mAkIng yOu EmbArAsSed lIkE thAt..." I whispered to his ear(?). He flinched slightly before he replied. "Mhm, it's okay..." "aRe yOU sUrE?" I whispered again. The way he kept slightly flinching after every word I whispered... 'He looks so adorable when he does that.' 《Gosh, you are a real simp Error •-•》"Wow, you both make me really jealous." Swap sarcastically said. "ThEn gO wItH DuSt Or sMtH." I responded, slightly annoyed that he had to barge in. "Are you alright, Swap? You're not usually like this. Is something wrong?" The guardian of positivity said with worry in his tone. "I'm alright, Dream." He replied, sighing with sadness. "Speaking of Dust, where is he?" Cross questioned walking beside Dream who was sitting in front of me and Kiki. "That is the reason why I'm like this. I'm just worried for him, he didn't even tell me where he went, or he was just on a mission."

"W-well, maybe he was hanging out with the others?" Kiki nervously replied. "Well, maybe." Swap responded, sounding relieved. Although he still looked slightly worried. *sneeze*

"..."

"A-aRe yOu AlRigHt Kiki?" 'Shit, I stuttered. He looked cute while he sneezed tho-' "U-um e-exuse me..." He exused himself, sitting straight while still on my lap. "You ok li'l bro?" Cross asked, kneeling down in front of Kiki. "M-mhm, I'm fine Cross. nothing to worry about." He replied to Cross's question, but I wasn't too convinced of what he said. I carried him bridal style walking upstairs. His reaction was priceless. "R-Ruru!! Put me down! I can walk, ya know!!!" He shouted, becoming a blushing mess when you'd look at his face. "ShUt IT wIlL yOu? StOp BeInG sO sTubBoRn aNd l3t Me CaRrY yOu." I growled at him. He remained silent, puffing his cheeks(?). 'He has to stop being stubborn sometimes.' Although from my view he looks adorable. 《Error please. I just wasted 1 whole box of anti-horny tabs to give it to my friend for simping. I don't want to deal with you fangirling about Ink, you wanting to fuck him that badly-》

I reached his room. Opened it, layed him gently on the bed. I sat on the edge, and I put my palm on his forehead to check his temperature.

"YoU iDiOt yoUr bUrNing."

"Am I?"

"YeS. NoW I dOn'T hOw yOu goT ilL, bUt GeT sOm3 ReSt So yoU'D fEeL bEttEr."

"But-"

"No BuTs Kiki. I'm wArNinG yOu."

"Fine."

"GoOd bOy. BeCaUs3 If yOu dIdN'T lIsT3n, PrAy tHaT yOu cAN wAlK tOmOrRow."

He suddenly blushed harder. 'Heh. It's fun to tease him sometimes.'

"But you'll be staying here, right...?"

"SaDLy. YOu sOm3How LooK dEsPeRaTE."

"Me and Cross will just go out for a walk. We'll come back before dinner and take care of both of you!" Dream shouted from downstairs. I didn't bother answering, and I heard the door click. It was a sign they had already left. It was just now, me and Kiki. No one else. 'It would be fine if I'll just- No.' 'Dammit.' As much as I want to, he's ill. I glanced back at Kiki who fell asleep somehow. 'That's good.' I stood up from the bed, but then I felt a grasp on my wrist. "Can you sleep with me..? Please?" He asked softly, gripping my wrist tighter. "AlrIgHt. BuT PrOmis3 mE you'D slEep, oKay?" I asked. He nodded in agreement, and I lay next to him, nuzzling his head on my chest. He started snoring softly later on. And I fell asleep with him in my hands.

Being with him was the best thing that could ever happen. I just hope nothing would go wrong between US.

《¿?¿》_"They won't Anika. Put your worries aside. Are all the evidence organised?"

《●Anika●》_"Yes Master. All of the evidence is organised to where they should be. The recordings have been prepared. I have fixed the cameras."

《¿?¿》_"Wonderful. Is my new creation functioning properly?"

《●Anika●》_"Everything is working properly in order Master. She is functioning well, she learns very quickly, and she developed a cheery behaviour. She is as sweet as a flower."

《¿?¿》_"Good. You are dismissed. And for the files, put them in my desk at the office. Continue with your observation to her. I'll organise her power codes, her memory disk, and her file Info."
