-=Kira's Point of view=-

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. The curtains were pulled to let in the rays of sunlight hit the concrete wall. I put my palm on my forehead and started recalling the past events. I kicked off the comforters and landed my feet to the ground. I found a new set of clothes neatly placed on a nightstand beside the window and a box placed beside it. I removed its lid, and what was on the inside was a pair of dark brown and white shoes. 'Trying it might not be that bad.' I pulled out the shoes and placed them to the ground. I then inserted the clothes inside the box and continued to carry it to the bathroom just a few steps away from me.

After taking a warm shower, I wore the provided clothes from the box. I came out with a towel on my head while placing the box beside the shoes. I found a black high thigh socks on the closet close to the nightstand, I didn't want to reveal my lower skin, so wearing it would make me feel comfortable. I finished it off with white layered socks《Or what did they call it stockings? Maybe?》then lastly the shoes. I then started to dry off my wet hair with the towel placed on top of my head when someone came inside with a porcelain cup filled with tea and a platter of a sliced strawberry pie and a fork, spoon balancing on top of a tray.

"Oh, good morning." He greeted, then placed the tray on the nightstand and then sat on the edge of the bed. "Good morning to you too. May I know who you are?" I asked, sitting beside the smol skeleton. "I'm Ink. I presume yours is Kira, correct?" He replied, glancing his gaze upon me. "Indeed. Thank you for the food. I dearly appreciate it." I thanked him. He then showed a soft smile. "Enjoy yourself. Come downstairs after you finish, we'll have to ask you some questions, so do prepare yourself." He informed. With that, he stood up and walked to the door, gave me a small wave, and left. I was left alone again. 'I don't have a choice.'

'Gosh, this place is making me dizzy.' I stopped to spot stairs leading down. 'Finally, it felt like decades looking for a way down.' Without hesitation, I made my way downstairs. I was met with a spacious living room. I saw Error with Ink talking to each other. Ink noticed me and then stood up to come and drag me to Error. 'What is with people/monsters dragging me around now? Eh... it doesn't matter...' Error then lifted his attention at Ink, who was smiling brightly with a star shaped pupil on his left eye and a circle shape colored with a saturated baby blue colour on the right. His gaze then landed on me, looking up and down as if I did something wrong to him. "Error, you remember Kira, right?" He nodded, then placed his crocheted doll version of me down. He was finishing some details.

"Good morning, Error." He hummed, sitting straight and fixing his posture. "Good morning too, Kira." Ink then sat down beside Error, and I followed beside him. "We'll have to wait for the others to wake up. They are usually awake at 7:00 in the morning." I glanced at the clock at the top of a shelf to the side of another hallway to my right. '6:31, 29 minutes left.' I hummed and lowered my gaze back to both of the skeletons. Error then started to crochet again while Ink was rambling about some events that might have happened in the past.

'6:45, 15 minutes left. I'm feeling impatient.' "Say, Kira, why won't you share what you usually do on the surface?" I glanced at Ink then to Error. "My life at the 'surface' is not much of exiting, really." Error hummed then continued on his almost finished crocheted doll. "Well, I still want to hear about it." I paced for a moment. "If you insist."

"And that's about everything." I forced a small smile at them before staring at my feet. "SoUndS lik3 aN eNdl3sS lo0p iF I'D b3 lIvIng tHat liF3." Error said, catching a small glare from Ink. "Wait, you said you had a job? Does that mean you live alone?" Ink asked, having orange question mark pupils on his eye sockets. "Yes, my parents left me at my twelve birthday to fly at a different place because of my brothers pleading." I rolled my eyes at the last two words. "PiCkInG fav0UrIt3S, hUh?" Error replied with a small chuckle escaping from his mouth. I hummed in agreement. "Uhh... Well, what about your childhood? Before your parents left." I became slightly anxious with his question. I was about to speak when I heard yawns from behind me.

"Morning." Dust and a cracked skull skeleton said in unison. "I, *yawn* morning, everyone..." Killer said, rubbing his right eye socket with his sleeve from his oversized black hoodie. Then, a black and white skeleton came downstairs and greeted everyone else in the room, followed by Nightmare holding a mug of black coffee. "Glad you all are awake. A strawberry pie is in the kitchen. Feel free to have a slice for breakfast." A skeleton with a yellow crown embedded with a star from his head announced. "Morning Dream! And to you all as well." Ink showed a soft smile after his words. Error was too fixacated by the doll he was trying to finish earlier. "And... who's this?" The black and white skeleton asked, pointing his finger out on me. "Ah, Cross, this is Kira. Kira, this is Cross. The one with a cracked skull is Horror, and that is Dream, my twin brother."

Nightmare informed while taking a sip from his coffee. Of course, not wanting to not be rude, I stood up and greeted them while bowing down. I sign of respect since I have a strong feeling their all older than they look. "Oh, please raise your head, Kira. There is no need to be formal." Dream said, walking close to me. I raised my head, fixed my posture, and smiled softly. "It's my way of showing respect." I replied. "Thank you, but no need to." He then responded, smiling brightly. "Kira, I would like to meet you at my office. Follow me." I nodded. I gave everyone a small wave before following Nightmare back upstairs.

"Have a seat." Nightmare motioned to a dark wooden chair in front of his desk. "Thank you." I then sat down, fidgeting with my fingers. "Do you like the new clothes I gave you?" He asked, I lifted my gaze on him, seeing his expression soften, and then I nodded. "Well, I'll go easy. First, may I know your full name."

'Gathering information, I see?'

Nightmare was going to speak once again but got interrupted by a sudden knock on the door. "Come in." The oak doors were open to reveal Error, who was holding a pouch that I have been wondering where it was. "What do you need, Error?" Nightmare asked, raising a non-existent brow at him. "I jUsT cAm3 tO r3TuRn tHis to KirA." He responded. "Thank you." He then walked closer and handed me my pouch. My grip on the pouch became tighter, and I heard sentences that mostly broke my childhood. 'Wonderful memories.'

"I'm gOnNa g0 n0W." With that, he left me and Nightmare alone once again. "Kira." I turned my head to Nightmare, who seemed to have a serious expression in his face. "One last question before I will dismiss you." I felt nervous as the rays of sunlight seep through the almost pulled curtains.
