". . . Error. . . ?"

Dream nervously flickered his fingers, looking desperately at Error. Ink had his eyes widened in surprise while Cross threatened daggers at Error. "H-hEy. . . Ar3 y-YoU aLrIgHt?" Error tried to sound calm, but his face was etched with concern and guilt mixed. "E-Error- what-. . . What are y-you doing here?" Ink sniffled, drying his tears with his sleeves while he stood up. "CrOsS cAlLeD m3. . ." Error hesitated and looked directly at his lover. The atmosphere fell silent. The only present is with Dream, glancing at the protector and destroyer every two seconds. "W-we will leave both of you for a m-moment. . ." He quietly stammered as he inched backwards to the door and closed it gently, leaving the lovers alone to recollect themselves.

". . . L-lo0K, I aPolOgIs3-"

Error tried to speak but was cut off.

"-No. . . It was my fault. I took suspicions, and I let my fear make me do things I should not have. . ."

Ink said, cutting Error off as Ink lowered his head in shame.

". . . *Sigh*. . . I gU3sS w3 ArE bOtH aT fAUlT."

Error chuckled at his sentence, making Ink giggle lightly back.

"I am still sorry."

"I Am StIlL sOrRY."

A moment of silence came until both ended up laughing at the sudden coincidence. Error glitched lightly, keeping his eyes focused at Ink. From his point of view, he was extremely relieved that both of them are now getting along after the fight. He panicked and crashed unexpectedly when he reached Nightmare's Castle. His only source of comfort was Kira. He admitted that she was a good comforter and good with words. The problem was that she had small conundrums when she tried to make physical contact with him. Completely forgetting about his Haphephobia. It led to multiple reboots.

"HoW is PaPeRjaM fE3lIng?" Error managed to blurt out, making Ink halt slowly from his laughter. "Good. He is having fun with Lux." Ink smiled warmly. He then walked closer to Error, and he was fully aware of what he was trying to do. Slowly, Error gently opened his arms, making Ink stop for a second, then smile. They both shared a warm embrace, relaxing at each others hold.

"So Mama and Father are not going to fight anymore?" A small voice came from behind the slightly opened door. The lovers giggled lightly at the sight of Paperjam poking his head between the gap of the door with Lux above him.

"You look adorable, Uncle Ink and Error!" Lux beamed happily, lifting her fist up. Pj nodded along with a hum of agreement. Error chuckled, and Dream giggled. "It is nice to see you both together." Dream said, chuckling slightly with his voice sounding relieved. His now-noticed tense shoulders begin to drop as the two children run towards the hugging couple.

"Father(Error), will I ever have a younger sibling?" Pj asked innocently, tilting his head to his side. Both the lovers were flushed with blushes as they stared embarrassed at their child. Lux looked at them curiously as she slowly and sneakily walked to her mother. "I already told Pj what he was going to ask, Mother." Lux said, whispering to her mother with a slight grin. So much for an eight year old.

"Good job, sweetheart. Me and Swap are proud of you." Dream whispered back with a sly grin on his face. Lux chuckled lightly while reaching for her mother's phone and took a picture with the two lovers flustered and trying to explain what they wanted to say. Ink's phone buzzed, letting him know that he had received a phone call. He quickly picked it up and excused himself, then left.

"Hello? Ink comyet speaking."

"Ah, Ink. I am glad you answered."

"I-. . . What do you need of assistance, your grace?"

"I was rummaging some students that were accepted in my school, it seems I found out Lux Starlight and Paperjam Comyet had been enrolled."

"Ah, yes. . . They both did attend the first week tutor program."

"Ah, I see. I just wanted to make sure what I saw was correct. Have a good evening, Ink."

"Ah- yes. Goodbye, your grace."

*Beep, beep, beep*

Ink inhaled some air as he exhaled in relief. He went back to Error and saw him glitching and giggling lightly as he saw a proud Pj creating small glowing fireflies and released them to fly around. A small laugh came from him and decided to join his son of making fireflies. Error took out his phone and started to record the adorable moment. Ink threw up, not too much, but he nearly forgot what was happening until it took him ten seconds to remember what was suddenly occurring. The two laughed together until Error joined in, and so did Lux, who was firing yellow glowing arrows and tried to shoot one of the fireflies that flew around.

Cross felt slightly relieved with them being positive. He may hate his younger brother now, but he seems to still care about him. He was worried. If him and Reaper can not make him happy, then they will make Error be his light. They would pass the opportunity to Error and make Ink happy. It seems that hate might not be the term to use, more of dislike? Or, holding in a grudge? It does not matter. Yet. . . An ache travelled upon his soul, making him feel his chest slightly heavy.

"Love, I understand that you want to be a part of it too, but you must wait and be patient for that to come."
Dream said as he softly held his husband's hand, intertwining them together. Cross sighed, looking at his younger brother. His face showed a bitter expression. "I know. . . But looking at him happy without me and/or Reaper. . . is painful." Cross said, his voice trailed with a sad tone. Dream flinched a little, feeling his husband's negative aura intensify. "Do not give up hope, sweetheart. Just know that Lux and I will be with you through your hardest times. I promise you. . ." Dream softly said, hugging Cross to link in comfort. Cross slowly returned the embrace, his cheeks tainted with warmth. Dream felt his negative aura lower. He snuggled his head to his husband's chest, making him giggle lightly.

. . .

"Hey, Pj?"

"Hmm? What do you need, Lux?"

"I feel like something is going to happen. . . Like a new life entering this world. . ."

"Do you mean someone giving birth?"

"N-no. . . Like just a child present in someone. . ."

". . . Should we tell Uncle Dream?"

"Not now. . . Maybe later. . . !"

". . . Alright then."
