"Fuck, I forgot my makeup." Adriana was running around the room, searching for her belongings frantically. I was already packed up and ready to go, which was actually weird considering that usually it was me who was running late before a flight.

"I'll go and take everything downstairs." I informed my friend, who disappeared in the bathroom, before standing up and grabbing both of our suitcases plus my side bag, which I threw onto my shoulder.

I pushed the cases cautiously next to me while trying to balance the huge bag on my side, and I managed to reach the elevators without letting anything fall apart. Moving around these huge suitcases wasn't easy, especially alone, but even if I wanted to, I couldn't ask anyone else since most of my friends have already left the hotel.

Lucas and Hannah were the first to leave early in the morning, both of them going to Los Angeles for Jimmy Choo. Then a few other guys left from our floor after saying their goodbyes to us, even though none of us really knew each other. At the very end came Xavier, who was going back to Moscow and then leaving for Seoul the day after.

Both me and Adrianna were scheduled to return to Paris later this evening, spending approximately 3 days at home doing a few photoshoots for Dior. Adrianna will leave after these days for Rome, having a few shots with Valentino. Meanwhile, I'll be on a break for a whole week.

I have to run a few errands both in my career and in my health, and my agent successfully managed to free up 7 whole days for these businesses. I am planning to settle everything in the first few days, then I'm going to visit my family in Oslo before returning to Paris and starting my tour with Prada and Versace before Christmas.

Just casually spending time at home wasn't something I was used to in this career; I spent my whole life on planes and in foreign countries. I couldn't wait for my spontaneous holiday before the actual holidays; I hadn't seen my parents since the summer.

The elevator slowly opened its doors in front of me, revealing the whole chaos in front of me that reigned in the lobby. Staff were running up and down from one corner to another, makeup and hair artists were dragging blow dryers around, and tech people were having loud phone calls. Checking out of the hotel was always a stressful task, and it took a toll on most people who weren't used to it.

I gently pushed one suitcase in front of me out of the cabin while dragging the other one behind me and holding onto the side bag. I wouldn't want to burden someone else with carrying my stuff, so I decided that leaving them in the lobby and waiting for Adrianna there would be the perfect idea.

I placed everything I had in my hands not so far from the receptionist's table, which was also completely empty, and threw the bag from my shoulder to the floor in front of me. Finally feeling liberated from all that weight, I sighed as I took out my phone from the back pocket of my sweatpants and took a seat on top of a suitcase.

I never liked to wear too formal clothing for a flight, and the comfortable clothes felt really good on my body after being in dresses, lingerie, and high heels all week. I picked out grey sweatpants along with a white pantless cropped top, only throwing a similarly grey and cropped zip-up hoodie on top, and of course I could never forget my blue Jordans.

I tied my hair in a high ponytail but left a few locks out in the front, and obviously they fell into my face whenever I looked down at my phone. I pushed my glasses further up on my face and smoothed my hair behind my ear on the left side as I was running through Instagram, posting pictures of the fashion week.

Adrianna was still nowhere to be seen even after I finished my social media duty, but I never liked to scroll around aimlessly on my phone. As I slid the device back into my pocket, a loud commotion hit my ears, not too far away from me.
