Sofia Christensen

The smooth bellow of the ocean waving right under us soothed my mind; a salty breeze whizzed by our heads as we were watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean in the distance. The thick and dense rope, which was stretched out between two paddocks in front of the house, let us lay right above the ocean with nothing but endless water and a beautiful scenery in front of us.

I fidgeted a little next to Matteo, who turned back his attention towards me, holding his arm out towards me, but instead of snuggling closer, I decided to lie on top of him instead. He appeared to like this idea as well, accepting my approach with arms wide open and a grin on his face.

I lay on my stomach with my legs up in the air, supporting myself on my elbows as he wrapped his arms around my bare waist. I smoothed a few light brown locks away from his face, enjoying his radiant gaze on my face and feeling his sun-kissed body close to mine. It was rather unfair how easily he tanned.

We exchanged a few small kisses between each other, bathing in the last few warm rays of the setting sun.

"Thank you for this birthday, Matteo." I murmured against his lips, engaging in yet another kiss.

"It's not every day that you're 25 after all." He grinned, caressing my whole back, leaving goosebumps everywhere. "I wanted to make it perfect." He smiled, which put a smile on my face as well.

"Would you have believed this is how we would end up all those months ago in Milan?" I turned my head back towards the sun, now kissing the bottom of the ocean in the distance. "Feels like it was only yesterday that we were dodging the paparazzi in Barcelona on our first date." A warm feeling flooded my whole body as nostalgia hit me hard. However beautiful our first date was, it will never beat this moment right here.

"Time flies when you're dodging tackles on the field or chasing after a supermodel's heart, doesn't it?" Matteo grinned as I snapped my head back towards him under me.

"Haha, don't give yourself too much credit, 'Mr. I can kick a ball really fa'r." I roll my eyes playfully at him.

"I'll have you know, my skills on the field are almost as impressive as your runway struts." Matteo feigned indignation, but I could clearly see the smile hiding in his green eyes.

"Almost?" I raised one of my eyebrows. "Again, with the lots of credits." I purred against his lips, teasing him with delaying my kiss, but he ran out of patience before I expected. In the blink of an eye he reversed the roles, and I found myself lying under him as he pinned my arms above my head.

"Just so you know, these skills still impressed you after all." He whispered against my ears, biting on it, forcing me to break my calm and collected self I wanted to hold so badly.

"I felt... generous." I drag myself along with our banter, but his touch made it harder and harder to speak coherently.

"Is that so?" He lifted himself up just enough to face me. "Was that the same generosity I feel right now?" He ran his tongue along my neck, and that was where we both knew I completely lost it all.

I thanked our brilliant idea of not changing out of our swimwear because at least like this it was so completely obvious how wet he actually made me with just a few touches. Or at least that was what I thought as I bit on my lip while struggling not to make any sound.

"Oh, what happened, Sofi?" Matteo was struggling too, trying not to laugh out loud as he was well aware of his certain victory. "You're suddenly very quiet." He lifted himself up once again to gaze on my face grinning as his hand ran along my side up until my thighs.
